Why do immigrants move to more developed countries rather than try to make their own better?

Canada for example gets hundreds of thousands of mainly Indian immigrants every year, which is definitely putting pressure on the housing and living costs in this country. I consider it leeching off established Western society and social systems. Why not use that massive amount of people to try and make their own countries better? If you made your country better, like any other country did in the past, wouldn't it be common sense that you wouldn't need to move away in mass numbers?

Plus, "developed countries" are only "developed" because their leaders stole and keep stealing resources from the so called "underdeveloped" countries.

Look at how much money Saudi Arabi can pull in every single day, and yet they're still an armpit of the world. It all begins with people doing something about their situation rather than leeching off other people in social systems

It is true. I'm not saying that the so called "underdeveloped" countries are perfect. I'm stating facts. Colonialism did happen and it still has an huge effect today.

I don't know about Saudi Arabia because I'm not from there. But that can also happen in a "developed" country. There's corruption everywhere.
One person or one family cannot change an entire country.

The thing is, there's several billion people in some of these countries. They could very easily overtake the few at the top, but instead of taking the difficult route to develop their countries better, they just take the easy route and leave for countries that did all the work for them

Centuries or decades of suffering and hardship don't end that easily and quickly.

Also, you're acting as if all Indians are suddenly moving to Canada, that's not true. There are millions of Indians living in India who have no interest in leaving their country. Believe it or not most people actually live in their country.

Those weren't the Puritans. Everyone confuses those groups. The Puritans were over 50 years later from the Roanoake colony. Even 20 years after the 1607 Jamestown settlement. The Puritans even asked the Dutch for protection which they received for about 20 years.

If they stay in a bad community they can risk going 20 years working and not getting ahead of the poverty line. Or they can migrate and in 20 years be in a better place as a family.
