Why Do Men Believe A Woman Is Not Capable Of Running The Country/Becoming President?

England had women running their country for centuries in example and just to name a few, Queen Matilda, Queen Elizabeth I (Henry VIII daughter he was desperate to have a male heir cause he believed a female wasn't capable and she and her mother Anne Boleyn both had the last laugh), Queen Victoria, and the late Queen Elizabeth II. Mexico just elected their first female president recently. India has had a female president, and so has Ireland. Poland had Jadwiga, and a lot of other countries have had female presidents. So how come other countries seemed to be okay with having a female have control of the country whereas America believes being a president is a man's job strictly.

Now I have to ask a question (and guys think long and hard on this one) if any of you had or have a daughter and she told you that she wanted to become president, asks you could she become president someday, or asks you will a female become president what would you say to them? Would you tell them they can or would you tell them a president is strictly a male job and a female is not allowed to run.

Now I'm not a Kamala fan by any means, I tried giving her the benefit of the doubt but she's confusing the hell out of me. But I do hope someday America will be able to have a female president. This is going to sound stupid, sappy, and corny to some of you men, but I would like for the little girls no matter their race, religion, and/or background know that they can someday have that possible chance of becoming president.

So what's the issue, because women are not allowed to be in higher positions? Are men threatened, like is it threatening to men to have a women to be in power? This isn't about Kamala and this isn't about Hillary cause in my last poll I've seen some men say a "presidents role is not a woman's job" and it's "strictly for men and men only". So what's the issue for guys to be so threatened by a female running the country and saying that the job as president is strictly for men?

Others have already articulated that being a woman isn't the problem; it's the fact that seemingly no women who ever make it to the ticket are even good candidates.

Hillary Clinton is a horrible person, and one of the most hated politicians in US history for everything from corruption to being a frothing power-hungry maniac. Like it or not, Michelle Obama is very much in the same category but has the self awareness to avoid the scrutiny of the public for the time being.

Carly Fiorina was pretty good until she ingratiated herself with the GOP donors and advisors, and immediately nuked her own message and reputation.

Michelle Bachmann could not take any criticism and came off as crazy the more people looked into her. On a similar note, Nancy Mace basically killed any future political aspirations thinking that articulating insane thoughts of anger onto paper made her look tough.

Maryanne Williams is actually a pretty normal person off camera, but she intentionally plays a wacked out new-age crystal energy BS hippie to pander to her constituents, which she will never escape even if she tries. A lot of the wacko "eccentric" GOP women like Boebbert and MTG are in the exact same ballpark even if they're "acting" like different types of weirdos.

Tulsi Gabbard is good in some ways, but completely flippant on a lot of issues to the point she can't be relied on for anything other than a cabinet position.

Nikki Haley is in bed with China. That's an automatic, permanent disqualification in this day and age as far as I'm concerned. That's before taking into account that she's clearly the defense industry's puppet as well. Her most redeeming quality is that she's not quite as bad as John Bolton.

Kamala Harris is legitimately a stupid, completely out of touch person. She can't read a room, has no charisma or wit, acts like a drunk, and as vice president, has been either a total absentee, or completely ineffectual, probably because she's nothing more than a sock puppet occupying positions as a formality. Especially when Tulsi Gabbard was in the same party, there was (and still is) absolutely no good reason whatsoever to vote for her.

I can go on but you should see the pattern here: whatever solid women there are in US politics, they aren't running for president. The ones we get are invariably corrupt, weak or "finger in the wind" on fundamental issues, play themselves off as a caricature, and just can't help but be as inauthentic as possible, perhaps because they are coached by the same bad advisors.

I have no problem with a man challenging a woman on her proposed politics, her track record, etc and saying, I don't think this is the right candidate, woman or not, but when your so called argument involves sexist comments, racist comments, and the likes in regards to Kamala, you are the problem. The truth is no one knows how it will be for a female to be president until we allow it to happen, and even then, if it happens, one person doesn't represent the totality of all womankind, just as no man does. If men can fail or hopefully succeed, and they have, at being president, we should allow the same courtesy to women.

Maybe they just don't like her as a candidate a lot of ideology on the left has become very anti male even the people who aren't anti male some men will have that perception. Personally I think you can be economically on the left without buying into the whole ideology of oppression and victimhood. Like in Switzerland there's a strong social safety net a lotof investment in things that benefit everybody like public transportation, public schools etc. But the ideology hasn't taken over. Like a year ago people voted to raise the womens retirement age to 65 to match mens retirement age. All the feminists were against it and talked about a slap in the face for women even though women live longer on average and this law is just equality. But the law got passed. It was very close but it passed. I think in Switzerland there's a good mix of social programs and economic pragmatism people will listen to nice ideas but they won't compromise the economy if something is too impractical to implement etc.

But a lot of political parties have not done a good job of communicating what parts of left wing ideology they stand for and what parts they don't. They just wait and see what is popular in the moment and then latch on to that. So if some kind of feminist hashtag goes viral the party will try and use it as an example of what they stand for even if they alienate a big chunk of male voters. I personally think the left should get back to the core of what being on the left is about. Workers rights, unions, making sure the working class is getting paid a fair share and not all the profits go to executives and shareholders, just trying to make the life of a working person better, investing in schools and infrastructure making those with the most money pay the most taxes, things like that. That's what someone on the left should stand for but you almost never hear people in the U. S. talk about this kind of politics because it's all run by money.

So instead they talk about feminism and lgbtq things and then they wonder why a lot of straight men are not voting for them. Men generally make decisions with logic. The majority of men are more concerned about below problems then the gender of a presidential candidate:

hyperinflation and stagnating economy
effective foreign policy and ending the ongoing Russo-Ukraine war and maintaining peace in the Middle East.
The border crisis and its impact on crime and tax payer money.
decisive leadership and sound policy.

Many men (and women) have come to a conclusion that one candidate is better qualified to handle the above pertinent issues then the other. One candidate was the sitting VP and was directly involved with the policy that started these problems to begin with. The other candidate had low inflation, low employment, a robust economy, a more secure border and relative world peace during his first term in office.

However let’s try a different scenario. Let’s say that Nikki Haley got the 2024 GOP nomination and Biden didn’t drop out of the 2024 race. Would you vote for Nikki Haley? Would you post the same question “why can’t we have a female president?” Would you be all preoccupied with sexism accusations right now? Would feminists be chastising men voting for Biden as “sexist”? Highly highly doubt it.

If I was living in America, I would vote for Trump, because of policies and cause he actually does care about america, because the stats prove that.

Australia has had a female Prime Minister and we chewed her up and spat her out.

We printed up placards with Ditch The Witch on them. Both men and women brandished the placards in a gender neutral way. So it wasn't in the least misogynistic.

She was asking for it though.

She got to be PM in a back room coup just before an election. So she lacked legitimacy from the start. She managed to get a minority, at that election, that enabled her to back room negotiate to be a minority government. Other Prime Ministers (male) have taken new tax proposals to elections and succeeded. They could lead a country.

Speaking for myself as a man I don't think that all women are not capable of leading a country. As a matter of fact, Margaret Thatcher was, in my view one of the best leaders of a country in my lifetime.

I do, however think that especially when it comes to larger more complex and more targeted nations, especially the United States, men are more likely to be successful leaders? One reason is that they garner more respect from leaders of some foreign nations especially some of the most evil players in the world today such as China, Iran, Russia and North Korea. Whether or not they are more capable, it is important to PROJECT strength and power in order to deter these evil empire countries from doing their evil craft. And, like it or not, men carry more weight in that respect than women.

Why? Because men are designed by nature for battle, both physically and mentally. They are the ones who battled the beast and brought the meat home to the cave for the women and children to eat. Nature designed them for that task.

And being able to intimidate an enemy is one of the most important functions of government, because unless they can protect their people, they have no country.

I respect the ideal you're holding... little girls should be able to aspire to be whatever they want to be, but it's not realistic it would be hard for them to earn respect them for a few reasons.

Human race is not fine without both genders. However, if you want a comparison: human race would be worse off without men. Because men keep the world running more than women simply because how men are biological built better than women and how “biology is biased against women” according to many feminists.

A lot of it has to do with the fact that men want to be leaders and want to see themselves in their leaders. They don’t like Kamala not because she’s a woman but because her womanhood doesn’t make her relatable to them.

I have nothing against a woman being president, as long as she actually earns it by being the best possible choice, not just given it because "girl power".

Hillary's problem was that (aside from being a repulsive person) she expected it to be handed to her because she was a woman. From what I can tell about Harris, her positions and behaviors seem far too inconsistent for me to consider her trustworthy. She doesn't particularly energize me. She's got that same "dead corporate-soul" vibe about her.

That said, I will always vote for whomever I believe to be the most virtuous - man, woman, or eventually even robot.

In the UK we’ve already had a female Prime Minister, Margaret Thatcher, and she was formidable.

It is more than likely that people in America do not trust the candidate you have, and given her personality, and track record over the last 3 and a bit years, especially during the two hurricanes in the last month, have shown that she is not suited for the presidency. In short she does not inspire confidence, and to be frank no one of her party does.

And it is not just Men who do not like her and do not want to see her as president, I still have female friends in the US who were confirmed and registered Democrat voters who are telling me that they WILL NOT be voting for Harris under any circumstances.

I have only had one that I truly would have considered had she been the nominee. If she doesn't stand for my ideals or if I think she is a POS, she won't get my vote. She hasn't earned it.

Female president has disadvantages because there are very sexist countries in the world you still have to have diplomacy with. But competency wise the right women can be a good president, its just rare for good female candidates to step up. In the US i'd consider tulsy if she ran on a good platform.

He gives the reason in verse 14 -and Adam was not the one deceived it was the woman who was deceived and became a sinner.
