Republican David McCormick flipped a Senate seat in Pennsylvania, defeating incumbant Democrat Bob Casey by around 35 000 votes (or 0,46%).
This, together with Republicans flipping seats in West Virginia, Montana and Ohio as well, means that Republicans now hold 53 senate seats and Democrats hold 45 senate seats (races in Nevada and Arizona are still too close to call).
