People who side with the 'liberal' party in north America, pertaining to the woke movement, or who are for 'social justice"... Or whatever they call themselves anymore (I precise, in north America specifically)... They've been accepting ideologies that are not soundly founded for years now. They have not been encouraged to think critically nor authentically. They have not been encouraged to seek natural and objective truth, nor to try to understand the order of reality.. To put it simply they just have not been encouraged to be sound humans, stable humans. In fact they've been subliminally discouraged from it. There are so many ways to manipulate people, wherever there is intense emotion there is an opportunity for manipulate... sexuality is an intense subject, tied to our survival instinct, that's why it's such a big tool used by the north American 'left'..
So you can deduct from this that people have been attacked at their emotional core... It's no wonder we see so many of them are a complete wreck. Honestly, I hope they will heal some day... There is so much negativity trapped in all those bodies, so clearly self destructive.
I'm not surprised Trump won. People got tired of leftist insanity.. even if Trump is far from being an ideal candidate, there was really no option

u 1 yI mean, I'm not a liberal, but this is rich coming from the party that instigated an insurrection when they lost and from a leader who claimed massive cheating when he loses. I've also seen stories of maga individuals rejecting services from liberal people so all of this works both ways. This country has become polarized with both sides doing the same thing when their side loses.
For the record, I did call out family members who voted for Trump and will cut them out of my life and I feel no shame about it. Not because I'm liberal, but because he intends to roll back women's rights even further and legislate against lgbt. That directly affects me and my marriage so Trump supporters who feel the same as him about it can fuck all the way off and twice on Sunday.
Not once did I ever support legislating against Republicans. I just wanted my own rights recognized in this country. We got them and now there is a very real chance they are going to do away with those protections.928 Reply- 1 y
Oh, it's you again.
I know what i am, I'm a centrist with somewhat republican leanings actually except when it comes to womens rights and lgbt. I actually believe in 2A, a strong military and making some social programs more restricted
I just refuse to be part of the cult of Trump. Feel free to be a member if you want, but count me out. I'm glad that people like Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger called him out and actually stood up to him unlike people like JD Vance who called Trump Hitler then bent the knee to him. - 1 y

@Ez-Bri-Z_v2 Oh please,,,,, that is bullshit... Have your conveniently forgotten the 3 plus years of "RUSSIA, RUSSIA, RUSSIA RUSSIA" AND THE RUSSIAN OCCLUSION BULLSHIT WE PUT UP WITH FOR THAT TIME, with that moose faced, Robert Muller?
How quickly leftists forget that !!! - 1 y
It's not bullshit, Bruce. What part specifically do you want to debate about? Republicans did, in fact, go to the Capitol, break in, and threaten officials. Trump, in fact, claimed election interference EVEN IN THIS ELECTION that he won.
I said both sides have become polarized. So please, praytell, what exactly is bullshit in my post. We've had great interactions in the past so I'd hate for the truth to make it contentious.
As for the other girl on here. No idea who you are but if you are calling me a leftist, you can just march yourself away from thread before I start removing your comments too. - 1 y

@Ez-Bri-Z_v2 "Cult of Trump' and yet another 45 year old high school graduate using the Cult term for Trump followers... If you had any idea of what the hell a "cult' is... you would know what an idiot statement that was? Just what the hell would make you think that the term "Cult" would apply to a man and a political movement this large as a Cult"?
Take some night classes - 1 y
Ah I see. You chose the path of violence.
Because it is a cult and not a very good one either. Blind sheep who are more concerned with hating on others, a "fuck you, I got mine" mentality, and are largely uneducated. That's why more college educated graduates vote democratic.
In itself, a cult is defined as a group perceived as requiring unwavering devotion to a set of beliefs and practices which are considered deviant outside the norms of society. Such groups are typically perceived as being led by a charismatic leader who tightly controls its members. It is in some contexts a pejorative term, also used for new religious movements and other social groups which are defined by their unusual religious, spiritual, or philosophical beliefs and rituals, or their common interest in a particular person, object, or goal.
Charismatic leader, check.
Unwavering devotions to deviants, double check. Trump supporters are the worst at this in fact. He largely dips into the white supremacy and Nazi vote. The rest are just sheep who follow along because they have no understanding of what the economy is actually doing, they think deportations won't apply to them, or they just plain hate their women having a voice of their own.
Sounds like a Trump cult to me.
Not bad for a 45 year old "high school graduate" who just also happens to work in IT. *shrug* - 1 y
I would be careful to speak too soon @Ez-Bri-Z_v2
Ideally there would be NO rioting by the left. But there was rioting on trumps 2016 inauguration (and it was completely downplayed by the media). Also everybody remembers the mass carnage BLM did in the summer of 2020. It’s funny how quickly the mass media conveniently forgot about that after J6 happened.
But anyway I do NOT want leftists to riot just so I can mock them. We need to get past this bs. - 1 y
Never said that leftists were incapable of rioting, though BLM was for something unrelated and had more to do with police brutality, especially when it came to minorities. We can expect more of that when you openly have sheriffs posting about not coming to the aid of Harris supporters.
Trump brings out the worst of society on both sides because it truly is a cult. It's tearing families apart as well as this country as a whole. You have sheep blindly following their orange shepherd into hell and they are doing so with dopey smiles on their faces because they think they are "owning the libs" when in reality they are hurting themselves as well. This con artist only cares about himself and has continually fleeced his followers for money with the promise of their being more for them in the future when in reality that's not the case at all.
When we are living in another depression I will have the opportunity to say, "I told you so," but sadly, I won't want to. We all failed each other on this one. - 1 y
“ BLM was for something unrelated and had more to do with police brutality”
No that’s a lie. They just used George Floyd as a cover to act deranged. Unlike the Ferguson riots the BLM riots had hordes of stupid white people and antifa degenerates (and antifa was just an “ideology” according to Joe Biden.
No BLM really was about Marxism, far leftist policies and income redistribution. They were just using “racial justice” as a cover. - 1 y
Sure, ok. Whatever you say

1 yThey're taking an identity crisis out on everyone around them.
They believe (ed) their own propaganda, man. You have to understand that these people approach politics and social issues with the understanding that they are on the right side of history, full stop. There's no debate about that. They are on the right side of history. They are the enlightened ones. They are the empathetic ones. Their ideas are objectively and clearly superior. And they tell each other that constantly.
When Trump won as decisively as he did, and was voted in with significant support by the groups that Liberals want to protect; they were totally blindsided and it's really tough to reconcile what happened with what they perceived was reality.

It is hard to understand why people will do certain things.
Some of the blame might go to certain media outlets.
They kept coming up with poles that Harris was leading, would easily win so many got their hopes up, then the election happened and oooppps, they were wrong.
Some people, in certain age groups cannot handle losing very well.
Remember the generation where you didn't keep score, everyone got a trophy?
Well, they are older now, and since they were never taught about losing in general, or how to be a gracious loser. They were never prepared for situations like this.
That generation was taught a great disservice. In the real world they do keep score, you do not always win or always get what you want.
Others I have no clue why.
The sun came up the next day, birds were singing, life went on with or without them.30 Reply- 916 opinions shared on Society & Politics topic.
1 yRepublicans stormed the capital and claimed the election was rigged for years... Cutting off people who voted for a convicted felon, racist, misogynist is hardly dramatic.
80 Reply 1.9K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Im going to explain this to you. Im an independent voter and follow both right and left media.
Just as the right leaning media said that this is the most important election in modern history and if we don't win we will end up in a socialist hell.
The left leaning media said that this is the most important election in modern history and if the left doesn't win we will end up in a fascist hell.
To the people on the left the country has sold our democracy for cheap gasoline (I have heard just that). They believe that the Trump regime (not Trump himself) will dismantle our democracy and put in a dictatorship. So to them, anyone who voted for Trump voted to desyroy our government and way of life.
If you look at it from that perspective you understand why there is such a big backlash, fear and other strong reactions.

Anonymous(25-29)1 yThey are simply applying the fear mongering that they have been fed into its logical conclusion.
Just like the last term, people actually thought Trump was going to genocide the LGBT and minorities and are acting scared.
At the same time though, I wonder if they secretly know it won't happen, or they didn't think that far ahead as to realize that broadcasting yourself on the internet having a meltdown isn't the smartest idea if you think a dictator is currently hunting you down.
20 ReplyNow Mr finch man.. there is such thing as too liberal, and too conservative… all jokes aside I am not convinced these were the two TOP contenders for such power to govern the country… I am a democrat and voted democrat but I’ve been hoping for trump to take over because our Democratic Party failed to prioritize the serious issue of immigration… and although trump is a self admitted felon and criminal and most certainly a creep and threat to women, he may just do what a women president wouldn’t have the heart to do so.
All in all, I expect to see at least a few things promised from trump, starting with deporting every criminal with illegal status.. if he can do that then the reds will have my vote come next election!00 Reply- 1.2K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic.
1 yI always said that democrats are both sore losers and sore winners.
When they won the previous election they would not stfu about trump.
Also, they keep bringing up January 6th making the argument that they’re at least peaceful about the result… well it appears they fail to realize that January 6th was the day before the inauguration. We’re barely into November. Not even the start of the new year. So bringing that up at this time is pretty damn disingenuous if you ask me. Who know wtf will happen when trump is inaugurated.00 Reply

I can't even imagine being that stupid. It's those fucking hats!!! They shouldn't have worn the hats! Nobody would have ever known!
20 ReplyThis is not a novel situation. Liberals have always acted in this way; nobody wants to be the "sore loser." With all their authority, what have they actually done? Liberals should have taken this into consideration and made the required adjustments, but they were too self-centred. Thank goodness people are finally waking up to this nonsense.

1 yNot wanting to be in a relationship with someone who has very different morals than you is not the same as refusing service from/for someone with very different morals from you. I'm not surprised you are confused by this, since many Trump supporters seem to view all relationships as merely transactions.
(Also it is not liberals who have the bigger history of refusing service from/for people they don't agree with...)
00 Reply 11.6K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. If we were actually as upset as you people were when your cult leader lost in 2000, we would be invading... I don't know... the Capitols of some of your shitty red states - like Florida and Mississippi. We aren't bothering, and we also are not threatening anyone, and there are no riots.
We don't do shit like this.

1 yDemocrats don't like having the opportunity to vote in support of their preference of presidential cabinet members or to have the ability make legislation proposals as a normal citizen. They want a dictator to be installed and mandate what they can and can not do. Gaining more influence in government hurts their feelings.
