I agree with the binary spectrum that involves identifying as male or female but if it’s an other gender, I personally don’t agree with it. I have nothing against non-binary people and I would never discriminate them, I will even call them by their they/them pronouns but I still don’t agree that there are more than two genders. Am I transphobic?

I'll try to put it to you like this: It is possible for a person who is a genetic chimera to contain the DNA for a female person AND a male person at the same time. So, for example, the DNA that leads to the growth of the genitals may not be the same DNA that governs sexual orientation and sexual identity. Such a person would likely be either a homosexual and/or a transgender.

While I’m sure it is very easy to understand swapping from one binary to another, choosing to disregard the very wide and varied middle ground just because you don’t understand gender as a concept being different from sex as a concept is indeed very ignorant, and saying it’s invalid because of that ignorance is transphobia.
