What do you think of the PS5 PRO Scalpers losing all their money?

I don't know why people thought scalping a PS5 Pro was a good idea it's not the PS6. Sure you made a bunch of money back in 2020 when Sony was caught by surprise, but now they are fully aware that people are going to try and scalp their PS5 Pros. So now they make you pay for them and they keep your money. And people own the normal PS5 and aren't interested in buying the Pro until it comes down in price because it's an expensive system that a lot of people don't have the money for.

You can't use the same gimmicks all the time and expect the big banks or companies not to notice it and shut it down.

I mean they messed around in a capitalist society and lost if that's the case. It happens. I'm imagining things are going to be much worse for them when tariffs start going into place next administration and it jacks the price of a Playstation unit to over 1k like many economists are predicting. Nobody is going to pay that much more from scalpers.

Regular people use bots to buy up a bunch of items, like popular sneakers that just released, to lower the availability and charge a higher price for them. Every retailer that had those sneakers is sold out, and the only place to buy is from the scalpers. The sneakers are $500 from the retailer, but the scalper jacks up the price to $1000 and sells all the items bought.

They use the bots to buy 100 PS5's and then try resale it for double the price. You're 18 years old I am surprised you don't know anything about this.
