Ain't that great?
there's truth in thoes photos. Some people want a decline in housing, we'll wherever that govt spigot has been running overtime... for decades, is going to decline iun value... and probably everywhere.
I hope the success shows up eventually in the checks of SS receipients. If you don't know it... what people worked all their lives for now won't even buy a place to stay. Govt has been stealing from people at a rate much more than 2% as they advertise.
So brace yourself, hope you aren't one of those whacked. I hope people saved some for a rainy day... we may all take a hit...
at the same time, we may see inflation as prices rise again due to tariffs. welcome to the new new world order.
but maybe they can manage it, but I always aim to plan for the worst and hope for the best.
Mostly in the form of government costs being reduced by a significant amount, which will have trickle down effect in a lot of other ways.
DOGE's effectiveness is going to be tied to whether or not the house gets onboard. It won't have any actual authority to do anything on its own, and can only make recommendations, so I think expectations should be managed...

i think you're missunderstanding. doge isn't supposed to take any jobs away from private business or enterprises. it's not gonna mess with companies that turn a profit for the country and provide sustainable jobs for the people who live close by. it's gonna mess with the bloated government and regulatory bodies that don't do shit but waste tax payer money just for causing problems for said companies to sustain the need for their own existence.
and i'm saying that having worked at one of these regulatory bodies before. it's a huge waste of money entirely spent on generating self importance.
i mean are you gonna elaborate? cause what you just said there had no substance.
oh. the good old "i know but i'm not telling" argument. i heard that last time from my little brother when i was 8 xD
well it isn't. but you just made that childish idiotic argument not me.
so are you gonna speak on the topic or can i assume you had no argument to begin with?
@genericname85 From what I understand, the asker is aware that a large amount of people (maybe in Virginia in particular) are employed by the government for useless jobs. When these workers get cleaned out, they'll have less/no income meaning they'll probably need to sell their houses.
Given the information in the post, for you to say he's misunderstanding is ridiculous in my opinion.
@Shoichiro well i'm not sad for people employed for useless jobs losing their job. especially not if these jobs are paid with my taxpayer money. if they find customers to pay, good for them. nothing to scoff at if that's the case.
Too bad Milton Friedman isn't here to give advice to Musk and Ramaswamy to help them get the job done. He was onto it decades before they were born.
https://www.youtube.com/embed/aZ8LkRLuEDkWhen the vulture private venture capitalists swoop into buy the government assets at fire sale prices that are left over after the public institutions and services are gutted by these two morons.
It's classic GOP.
Starve public services of resources
Say look "they can't do the job"
Turn it over to private companies
Rinse. Wash. Repeat.
There isn't very much evidence of most of what the federal goverment is now spending money we don't have hat we can viably see. Democrats have to be petty during these "goverment shutdowns" so we will notice it by paying money to shut down open space parks. Pettiness that is clearly unnecessarily as Republican demostrated
Definitely!
How they handle the great downsizing of the government jobs and bloated departments of everything under the sun will be a deciding factor in the economy to come.
All these tax fattened hyenas that have cushy 6 figure government jobs will have to work their asses off like the rest of us.
You know it's not even a real department? It's the Trump University of government.
I think awareness for the absurdity in government spending is step one to solving it but I expect they'll have very little influence if any.
The government employees who lose their jobs can take the ones left by the expelled immigrants
Yes a reduction of Federals workers
All Biden regime fired
Prove it. I can't actually see the future.
Higher unemployment
