Fellow Californians do you agree with no fault divorce?

In 1969 California signed no fault divorce into the state law. More than 50 years later we see that it did not work out well. Drugs, gangs, and homelessness, are largely here due to the states divorce laws and history.

I agree with it, but it should forfeit alimony, child custody and assets if someone wants to leave for no reason. But that's unrealistic because people can easily create a reason. Literally anyone can get drawn into a DV or have a false accusations made against them. So basically this part of the system can't really be improved upon.

Default 50/50 child custody with no child support, one year limit on alimony, and pre-marital assets being 100% excluded regardless of prenup status, would be a better fix to the system. As it is now, a spouse can cheat on you, hit you, take your kids from you, take your assets, then force you to pay for their new life with the person they cheated with. That's not an ethical system at all.

Divorced? Perhaps if you didn't beat your wife or bang her sister you'd still be together. Here's some news, the days of a bad husband is better than no husband are long gone. Women aren't taught to tolerate abuse and unacceptable behaviour any more, the days of accepting shit to hold on to your man are long gone.
