Do women still need strong men?

In today's world do women need strong men? Like all couples we have our needs and wants we support one another when we need it. Yet it is important to be strong... no one wants another man child.

The majority of the things that require physical strength that exceed the physical strength of most women these days can either be done by machines or other people (mostly men) a woman can hire for money.

It sure depends on where you live though. I'd imagine that the demand for every day physical strength tends to be higher once you leave the city and should be pretty obvious in areas with agriculture. Living in parts of the world or the country where it is unwise to be out alone as a woman past a certain time would also favor having a man around.

I guess it's safe to say that in major parts of the western world women tend to not need men for that purpose anymore. That is, as long as everything is fine and well. As soon as there is unrest, poverty, war or similar, things can change drastically. So women don't need men, let alone strong men. Until they do. Just like a plumber 😉

I would say so. Most women seem to prefer the man to be ahole for the couple in external dealings whilst they try to gain by being nice.

Added to which women are more fragile emotionally so they like a man to be imperturbable whilst they go ahead and lose it at not knowing where the car is parked..

Not really, I'm doing quite well without, however it would be nice having a partner in my life again at a point. If it will be a man, only time will show.

A lot of man children say they’re “strong” not realizing that what they think is strength isn’t actually strength to women. You need to be more specific.

Women say they are "strong and independent, and have no need of men". That's fine with me. When your car breaks down or the bear is coming after you don't expect me to do a thing for you - just be your strong independent self and solve the problem without my assistance.

Individual women don't necessarily need a man in their lives, but they do need men as a whole doing all the things they do every day to make the world livable for women and children. Men as a group make it possible for women and children to survive. The same cannot be said for men needing women. We all need women to perpetuate the human species, but that's about it.

Men want women, but they don't need women the way women need men.

That's literally the MOST ignorant thing I have read this week, and that's impressive.

Prior to the Industrial Revolution, it was virtually impossible for women to live without a man. A handful of very wealthy women could, but only because they could hire men to do everything they needed a man for. The vast majority of women quite literally could not survive without a man. This is why marriage and family were so incredibly important for most of human history. The fact that you don't seem to be aware of that is astounding.
