Trending & News Damn, that's fucked up. I don't like to generalize an entire group of people due to an action of just one. I like to see a pattern of repeated behavior before I start generalizing and hating people. THAT being said, that's a pretty fucked up thing to have happened so I don't blame you for feeling that way and I don't think it's wrong.
He is also just a man. You may as well hate all men. On the other hand, he is also additionally a man. You may as well only hate MEN who have down syndrome.
It is not wrong for you to hate rapists, or potential rapists. There's no reason for you to pick out that one trait of his (having down syndrome) as the indicator of actual or potential rapist tho. That is wrong, logically.
I can understand your anger, but Downs is on a spectrum same as many other neurological disorders and mental disabilities. Blanket-hating everyone is ableist because of one shitty person who happened to also have it.
No, it's understandable. Not saying it's right because those other DS people didn't do anything to you, but it's understandable since you've been through so much.

It's not wrong but it's something a counselor can help over come a tragic incident and resulting bias from that incident.
Feeling that way would be normal in that situation, but acting on it and voicing it would be wrong.
I understand how and why you feel that way. Not every Downs person would be inclined to do anything like was done to your sister.
No. It's emotional transference. All humans do it. Sorry about sis
It's ignorant. It's up to you to decide if ignorance is wrong.
Yes, it is wrong. The presence of Down syndrome did not cause the rape.
I'll take things that didn't happen for $1000, Alex.
Sounds like you need to speak with a professional.
