Now, for all EU countries (and more countries on the list they made public), you need to get a permit to enter the UK even for a vacation! And it costs £10 to apply for it. Some electronic online bulls... permit.

Seems to me annoying to say the least. Not sure what is behind this move. I hope that if they don't want certain people to enter the UK then they get some balls and announce blatantly in their faces the exclusion of those specific undesirable and unwelcome subjects. Not hide like cowards behind a blanket rule that affects everyone to curb their nausea and their headaches.

Schengen is doing the same thing. I think what's actually going on here is they don't want to admit that taking all those Muslims was a mistake, and in reality, they'd like to implement the same kind of policy that Trump was pushing, but they don't want any backlash or to be accused of "racism", so they are punishing innocent people to keep their hands clean.

No issue with democracy. What was promised and what has (or hasn’t) been delivered are poles apart.

Yeah for example I've heard that you still have a problem with certain immigrants getting into your country. That one really baffles me. I just can't fathom it in a million years. If someone knocks on your door asking to get in, and you don't have the pleasure of letting him in you simply say no, and if he is arrogant you shut the door in his face.
