Why do people get furious when someone accesses their stuff but are a-okay with the tech giants accessing their stuff?

big tech and government is more abstract and ultimately you are a piece of hay in a 100 mile high hay stack. In gathering everyone data you are just as hidden if they didn't gather anything.

For this exact reason it's fucking stupid to do so. It's ineffective of actually helping and extremely expensive to do so. Old school information is more valuable credible and at least modesty ethical compared to today standards of mile higher everyday bullshit for shits and giggles they jerk off over having power over everyday people.

I think a lot of it comes down to subconsciously knowing. Your private information isn't physical taken from you through big corporations therefore when dont think about it. But someone takes our devices we are able to react right away. Now we should be furious at tech companies but because it is not being done in front of us or in away we know it makes us unaware.
