I was very liberal when I was young. But liberal then was VERY different than liberal now. Everything has moved so far left, that what used to be liberal is now moderate, or even moderate conservative.

Just listen closely to the hippie music from the 60s and 70s. It's amazing how much of what was radical liberal then is considered conservative now.

Liberal here can mean conservative in Australia (like saying ones a Republican in America)

I support the conservatives in Canada and the liberals in America for identical reasons: Liberal Justin Trudeau is racist and Conservative Donald Trump is racist.

The bible says human beings are created in the image of God, which means all races, cultures and religions matter to God and deserve our respect.

it actually says Adam was created in the image of god. not "humans". and certainly not "all races". the idea the bible teaches "all religions deserve respect" is unfounded

never been liberal. That has become a similar label to feminism. Neither are in original form after this past trumpet election they tried to bunch it with dems so much and then became dems. Ignorance in purest forms

Yes and my fundamental philosophy is we are only as strong as our weakest defense. So everyone needs a level of protection or the whole boat starts sinking.
