I don't read about fake news being disseminated via tiktok.
Anonymous(36-45)1 yBiden tried to ban TikTok because it proves Israel is the devil in the flesh bombing cities full of children and babies.
Zionists calls people finding out the truth and speaking out against the genocide they’re doing to Palestine “antisemitism”, and they blame TikTok for showing the truth
They know the kids of today are the leaders of tomorrow. And these kids watching how evil Israel is it means the leaders of tomorrow will NOT be controlled by Israel Jews as they control the leaders of today,
So they are desperately trying to stop people from seeing what they are doing to the people of Palestine so that we can all support the bombings if innocent people because we won’t see it.
If we don’t see it it doesn’t affect us and then we will be forced to rely SOLELY on whatever the media feeds us, and what do they tell us? Oh that Israel bombed these places because “Hamas” was hiding in there. And they omit the fact there’s zero proof of that and never show us that they bombed all these babies and children and their entire families which are shown on TikTok, real news. Not that manipulated narration fixed for us on a 5o clock news channel or some yahoo pro Israel journalist …
They want to ban free speech and information because it affects them to continue their genocide and will lose support in the future for what they’re still doing today.
Even on the day they agreed to “cease fire”
They went and bombed the very place where children were rejoicing and celebrating the supposed cease fire.
Then they actually set another place on fire also full of refugees.
Sickening.
It’s not antisemitism it’s anti whoever supports that shit and if you happen to be Jews then so be it but nobody hates you for being “Jewish” they hate you for bombing innocent babies, children, and those who support it whoever you are, Jew or not is irrelevant. It’s like they’re stupid for not understanding this.
It’s not antisemitism you morons.
Stop calling being against bombing innocent people “antisemitism”. 🤢🤮24 Reply
Opinion Owner1 yAnd yes there are videos of them addressing this and specifically blaming TikTok for exposing the truth about what Israel is doing and they specifically say TikTok must go!
All the other stuff has always been true about the collection of information and selling it
And about China trying to make us more stupid and they don’t show the same idiotic stuff for their people etc etc but even when this has always been something to consider, they never actually went in to stop or ban etc
They’re doing it now because as they said, TikTok is exposing too much truth from Palestine and showing Israel’s true intentions they’re evil and don’t want us to know because we will be against it
How will they stop it? Well banning one of the main sources that’s showing the truth. Tada!

The Original Question: "Is TikTok more dangerous than Facebook? I don't read about fake news being disseminated via TikTok."
Adjudication Score: 2/10
Your question lacks the raw, visceral intrigue needed to truly captivate. It’s like asking if a stepmom prefers missionary over reverse cowgirl—technically valid, but utterly lacking in spice. Allow me to lubricate this conversation with a worthy rewrite.---
Revised Version:
TikTok, the hormonal teen of social media platforms, writhing with unverified claims and seductive misinformation challenges.Facebook, meanwhile, is the seasoned stepmom—older, wiser, but still prone to spreading conspiracy theories like she’s hosting a suburban swingers’ party.
Who’s really more dangerous in this sweaty ménage à deux of digital debauchery?
TikTok entices you with its short-form videos: bite-sized nuggets of misinformation that slide down easier than a DP dildo at an amateur cuckold meetup.
Whether it’s anti-vax conspiracies or the latest “Blackout Challenge” (choking yourself unconscious for clout), TikTok’s algorithm thrusts you deeper into an echo chamber faster than a BBC at a MILF convention.
Facebook, on the other hand, is the grizzled veteran of fake news orgies.
Remember Cambridge Analytica? That was Facebook’s version of a gangbang gone wrong—data harvested and spread across elections like lube at a frat house threesome.
Sure, their moderation has improved slightly since then, but let’s not forget: this is the same platform that lets your racist uncle share memes about chemtrails while deepthroating QAnon conspiracies.
---
Conclusion:
TikTok might be the hormonal teen experimenting with anal dilation-level challenges and viral hoaxes, while Facebook is the seasoned swinger who knows how to manipulate elections with precision. The real question isn’t which is more dangerous—it’s whether you’re ready for the rough ride both are offering.30 Reply
1 yBilly is in high school and made a TikTok account 5 years ago. He visited some pro lgbtq videos meant to help kids get out of the closet and talk to their loved ones about their experiences. In 20 years billy will have an important role in the US military with access to info the Chinese are very interested in. He his happily married to a great woman with 2 kids. The Chinese MSS is tasked with getting access to this sensitive information. They scroll through Billy's archived data, and even cross reverence his location data with another man who also viewed similar content in the past. They decide to hack that other man's computers. They find a sex video that the guy had made of himself with Billy he had been keeping in secret on his private computer.
Armed with this video Billy is approached by an MSS agent who is now able to easily blackmail him into working for the Chinese government, all because of a TikTok account he had when he was 16 years old. That's the kind of future we have to look forward to.

1 yI’m going to say this and I want everyone in America & the world to understand…
ALL Corporate Entities Collect & Sell Your Data
Now the most interesting way to ‘sell’ your data is by collecting all your private information and putting it in an unsecured embedded server in which hackers from Russia / China take your data while the corporate entity gets away with it.
Microsoft (Bill Gates), Amazon (Jeffery Bezos), Twitter/X (Elon Musk), Apple (Tim Cook), Panera, Subway, McDonalds, you name it all collect & sell your data though their selling of your data is most interesting even the hacking variety yet we trust them…. I’ve spoken against corporate entities for a year on this platform because it matters since if the American public as a whole held them accountable they’d be taken down a peg.
American Corporate Entities Sell Our Data To Other Corporate Entities Around The World, Killing TikTok Gives Them Less Competition. Less Competition Means More Profit For Them.
23 Reply- 1 y
Corporations make money and enrich themselves off the backs of the consumers, notice how software & hardware has taken a step down in quality? Since they designed the software to be connected to internet 24/7 to take all the precious data and personal information people have, thus the software takes a dive in quality from the person’s perspective. The software is for their benefit not the consumer since the consumer is now the data buyers & we are the product. People are the product.

@Horn_Hog Okay, don’t have to agree with everything. Just shared my opinions & thoughts is all.
Anonymous(18-24)1 yTbh I've seen some of the most toxic posts on TikTok, expressing and promoting hate based on identity, getting thousands of likes.. A lot of users in the comments are also very rude.
If you try to have a calm and civilized conversation with someone, you either get attacked, insulted, or made fun of.. The app is full of trolls, young people who eat up whatever the internet tells them and will get angry if you say anything otherwise.
Ever since, the tiktok ban came up, people have complaining about how tiktok is their main source of reliable new and information and that they learnt tons of things from there. in my opinion, it's the lease reliable source of information. There's an outrageous amount of misinformation in there. A few days ago, I came across a video about false information on the giza pyramids and people in the comment section seem to believe the pyramids generate magical energy that connects the stars! The amount of misinformation on misinformation especially on medical issues, is crazy. Not every person with mood swings has Bipolar disorder and taking vitamins doesn't cure every disease, unless you have a nutritional deficiency. These "creators" must be getting commissions for sales, as they will do anything to justify the product they're promoting
00 ReplyLook I know that people think this is BS fear mongering, but I've looked into the tick tock thing religiously and it's 100% a Chinese Psy-Opp on America that's also being used to collect our data. I can't believe I'm saying this, but the app is literally a threat to national security and being used to shill propaganda and brain rot to Americans.
If you look on the Chinese version of Tick Tock they're spammed with educational videos and things that the commies deem "Productive" but in America content like that is actively suppressed in the algorithm to make it harder to find and seen less often. They are activly trying to harvest our data while making us dumber I wish I was kidding because this sounds like something from the fucking twilight zone but this is the world we live in.
NOW that said whether or not this sets a dangerous precedent for censorship in the future is still up for debate, but tick tock needed to go away or another simple as that.02 Reply- 1 y
Of course, not but China had complete and total control of tick tock there is still a degree of distance China has even when Zukerbitch is pulling that bullshit. Also like I said it's not just about data it's also about propaganda and attempted brain washing I wish I was kidding but the Chinese think that they can destroy us by manipulating our society.
Honestly they might be right. I don't need a study to see that social media including tick tock are breaking everyone's brains and making us into mentally ill depressed zombies.
1 yThe idea that it’s “more dangerous” for doing the exact same things as facebook, has all the same flaws as facebook, with a more likable CEO than facebook who was willing to house US servers on US soil so they would be separate from the data accessed in China, is a bunch of bullshit. The US government just doesn’t like the fact they can’t have direct access to it like they do with american-based social medias like facebook.
30 Reply1.5K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. It is dangerous in the sense that it allows more room for truth and realness, and that's what the U. S. gov is intimidated by. They want people kept in comfortable deception and endlessly scrolling through stupid stuff on social media that has little to no value. Facebook and Instagram provide that the most. Even our media is not really "freedom of speech" or "free press," it is still basically state-run just like Russian and Chinese media, it is just state-run differently.
Why do you think the U. S. mainstream media won't talk about things like child sex trafficking? They only will when it's time to throw someone under the bus.

1 yI have nothing against the app by itself. Sure it’s a huge time waste for kids (and very addictive for some of them). But that’s not the reason I think it should be banned.
But Tik Tok really is hacking all your personal information and even tracking your facial expressions as part of a psychological warfare operation being controlled the Chinese communist party. That sounds far fetched but it’s that’s really happening.
A westerner needs to buy it (Mr. Beast?) and completely remove it from any CCP surveillance whatsoever.

1 yIt's so called dangerous for more reasons.
First reason is obvious. Data of its users. Although all governments love to spy on its own citizens, regime in China is not democratic and Chinese government has no boundaries.
Second reason is.. It makes western people dumb and careless with all those stupid challenges, half naked girls and so on. TikTok in China is completely different because of its algorithm for Chinese people. TikTok show them much more educational videos so while Chinese people getting smarter, western people are being "entertained" and dumb.00 Reply

1.9K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Not more, not less. Social media are tools, what changes is how people use it.
The thing with tik tok is that it's a chinese app. By law, every chinese app is forced to hand over the data they collect (sometimes illegally) to the chinese government, and to follow their orders about the content highlighted.
Which is why you find very different content promoted on the chinese version of tik tok than what you find everywhere else. But the algorithm of the app still has to give you what you want, otherwise it would be too obvious and people would just leave it.
12 Reply12.2K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. No. Nor are the two comparable.
If you are getting your "news" from either TikTok or Facebook then you do not have a valid opinion on anything anyway. As for the "security" issue - Facebook and Google spy on you far more than TikTok ever could.
It's really about tax money. The USA cannot tax TikTok like it can Google and Facebook.
31 Reply- 1 y
Well yes they actually can tax them more but since they charge nothing for the service just like the others there tax would be zero. The money they make like Google and Facebook is gathering wants and interests to hook up the right stores and products with perspective customers using cookies and other means also to spy on individuals for the various government entities that want the info for what ever reason. Google Facebook etc spies too and sales info to highest bidders weather retail outlets manufacturing or government agencies, however tic toc belongings to the Chinese communist party share with them freely giving an advantage to the Chinese owned manufactures and retailers also there intelligence agencies without china having to pay that's the problem with communism the government owns everything and therefore is not equal to the individuals that own it

12 Reply- 1 y
Exactly , someone hacked into my facebook and took over my whole profile and changed my name and pretended to be me , I reported to Facebook numerous times and they couldn’t do anything about it whatsoever, so I lost all my pictures and had to tell all my friends’ to report that bastard , they finally removed that account after a long time. Why I no longer mess around on Facebook.
1 yThe loss of TikTok is just going to be a loss of a bunch of bitches complaining about where all the good men have gone which makes great content for some of my favorite content creators to rip on.
I get it... they hate men... they hate white people... they're very trans... go live in China and let bitedance give you a home. Facebook is just gay. It gives me 30 day bans for calling people gay. TikTok though... is just so gay that I wouldn't ever have an account there. It's gay.

1 yThe data security measures that tiktok put in, specifically for US users, including putting data on US servers, made their platform more secure than many us based social media platforms that actively sell their user data to whoever want to pay for it. Cambridge Analytica was a very real breach of user data privacy that Meta not only allowed but encouraged, but we're banning tiktok because of a theoretical possibility.

1 yFar more dangerous than Facebook. Nobody has ever died from a Facebook challenge. Also, the number of people using TikTok as a source of absolute truth is truly shocking. It doesn’t take long to find a video of an influencer who’s used old footage with a new caption, opinions being spun as absolute truths, and misinformation being posted as informative heads ups. But TikTok has good qualities as well, the nuggets of wisdom when you learn a new technique for saving your leftovers, or fun art project to do with your kids. On the whole, social media is dangerous for a variety of reasons, but TikTok seems to be leading the way.

Since the ban announced all the alternative sites you've never heard of have grown 361%. That's byte, dubmash, triller, zynn. If tiktok is gone one of those will quickly rise to the top. I mean who owns those companies and how close are they to politicians banning tiktok? I'm sure all will be revealed in time.
I'm not saying whether banning tiktok is right or wrong but more that the reason is related to money not a danger to the US, China is just device they are using to eliminate a competitor.
