It's pretty good here, we get free treatment and free prescription medicines. There's no charge for ambulances, in rural areas you might even get a free helicopter if it's serious enough.
You might have to wait a while for non urgent stuff like a dodgy shoulder but stuff like heart issues gets dealt with quickly.

The downside is it can be difficult to get an appointment at the doctors because they're swamped with people who think their kids runny nose needs medical attention.

I use the ACA, also known as Obamacare for my health insurance. I’m really glad I get to have monthly payments that aren’t $200 a month, but at the same time I think the entire set up for insurance is kind of bullshit. Why is it that hospitals charge you so much without it? And it’s even higher if it’s in the emergency room, the prices easily get inflated by 3 times what they would have been anywhere else in that same hospital. I don’t like this system, I’d prefer universal healthcare.

Us, and we don't have healthcare, we have sick care and it sucks. The goal of our system is to keep us sick enough to rely on big pharma but not too sick we can't function daily. US is one of the most unhealthy nations on earth, and it's causing out of control healthcare costs and worse health outcomes.

I have a so called Cadillac plan that we pay extra for. My wife is a cancer survivor so it is worth it in case it comes back We can go to any hospital and see any doctor, even specialists. I got a total hip replacement and my end was a 20 dollar co-pay.
