@lil_will_12 Countries often create show trials to 'prostitute' their defeated political enemeis to fr the crimes that supposedly motivated the conflict. This is a way of extending their control and justifying what they did.

In reality however we had zero authority to do that, and would not have done that if we had not defeated them.
