Ironically, the WaPo wants people to pay to read the article about "No buy day".

I won't be participating. I have to drive two hours round trip to my eye doctor tomorrow. And on the way home I'm going to stop for something to eat (probably Thai or Mexican), top off my fuel tank at CostCo, and then go to Save Mart for some groceries.
Aside from that, I have no plans to buy anything else.
