they should join the USA... retain their voting rights. they'd immediately take over the USA by voting block going left! Biggest takeover in world history. Then force health care and mental health care for all. trouble is, I know peopel there and their mental healthcare appears to be crap. maybe best care would be high speed trains to sunny places?
Make Canada Great For Once CGFO.
Biggest problem is Saskatchewan. There is no way American people can pronounce or spell it, it will have to be renamed to Mapleville.
don't get me started on merging with EU and building a tunnel to UK. It's too easy to blow up.

Canada may want to consider it depending how psychotic our Reich Wing terrorists become.
Another idea that occurred to me is NATO voting to expel the USA. Why bother with NATO membership if the USA is not going to honor its commitments under Article 5 or have any economic ties with the EU and UK? tRump has invited Putin to invade Western Europe. He cut off military aid to Ukraine. Why wouldn't he do that to NATO?
Cut us off formally. We are a pariah nation now.

If the political decision-makers are suggesting that Turkey can't join the EU for being on the Asian continent, then Canada is so far out it would not make any sense.

  True, there are several reasons against Turkey joining. And of course there are several possibilities of economical treaties with Turkey or Canada, but joining the actual EU is not one of them.
