Have we finally turned the corner and begun fixing this broken country?

I'm sitting watching Trump's presidential address and I find myself agreeing with everything he is saying, and everything he has done in the short time since he took office. I didn't vote for Trump, but if the election were today, I would in a heartbeat. I am so fucking glad Harris didn't win. What an absolute disaster that would have been. It would have been worse than Biden, and that's saying something.

I feel like we have turned the corner as a nation and are heading in a positive direction for the first time in decades. The Beatles song "Here Comes the Sun" comes to mind.

Little darling
It's been a long, cold, lonely winter
Little darling
It feels like years since it's been here

Little darling
The smiles returning to their faces
Little darling
It seems like years since it's been here

Little darling
I feel the ice is slowly melting
Little darling
It seems like years since it's been clear

Here comes the sun
Here comes the sun
And I say, it's all right

Can you feel it?

Yes, I feel it and am grateful we have turned the corner
I would rather sulk because my team lost, even though my team utterly failed me and all Americans
