Switzerland has 25% foreigners and 40% if you include people who were born in another country but got swiss citizenship. But it's actually working out fine. Switzerland is still in the top 5 of almost any metric you can judge a country by. And if not top 5 then top 10. I think when you have a strong culture or identity and you welcome strangers but you have high standards that they need to meet then it can work. Those people who come here and stay they really want to be here because it's not easy. You need to learn german you need to find a job you need to integrate yourself you can't just hang out with other foreigners they will not give you citizenship if you don't make a big effort. But I think in general people are not xenophobic there are some people who are like oh we had 6 million people now we have almost 9 and it's all foreigners I liked it better before but there's always people who complain.

I think the people facing the biggest challenges are the school system because they have to deal with some kids who have had basically no parenting and need to try and navigate those situations but the swiss school system is very good and they work miracles in many cases. I think any highly developed country will need some foreign labor and we're lucky that a lot of people want to come here and so they can chose the best ones. Some just wanna work for a while and then go home, some stay for ever, either way is fine.

No we tried that nearly 100years ago and some do atm but it was as bad than as it it now.

I saw this video. it was crazy, she also said that America should be a European Christian society, if I was one of the minorities in that room I would have been rethinking a lot of shit.
