Many other states have similar laws already in place, but your obvious swipe to suggest it's a "left leaning problem" is based on the usual right-wing foundation of "not factual, so we'll make up our own".

There's all SORTS of fun rumors, propaganda and straight up bullshit circulated by "right-wing conservatives, especially Christians", about child porn, but the facts don't lie. By any chosen metric, the largest majority of child pornography crimes, whether REAL or AI generated, and subsequent convictions are against:

* 64% - 69% (depends on which stats you want to lean on) --White cis gender males who list themselves as Conservatives or right leaning Christians. You should also not that these numbers are almost identical for school shooters.

* The same percentage as above is reflected in Child Sexual abuse cases with the noteworthy distinction that more Women than Men were convicted of Child Sexual Abuse in 2022-23.

So spread all the bullshit you want, Mr. Anonymous, but your accusations are mostly confessions. Real time abuse and child porn offenses are indeed committed in the VAST majority by white, cis, conservative males. In addition, both males and females associated with religious schools, religious day care centers, etc., have the highest occurrence. Priests, not drag queens, are you major offenders.
