References to a World War II Medal of Honor recipient, the Enola Gay aircraft that dropped an atomic bomb on Japan and the first women to pass Marine infantry training are among the tens of thousands of photos and online posts marked for deletion as the Defense Department works to purge diversity, equity and inclusion content, according to a database obtained by The Associated Press.

The database, which was confirmed by U. S. officials and published by AP, includes more than 26,000 images that have been flagged for removal across every military branch. But the eventual total could be much higher. The purge could delete as many as 100,000 images or posts in total.

The vast majority of the Pentagon purge targets women and minorities, including notable milestones made in the military. And it also removes a large number of posts that mention various commemorative months — such as those for Black and Hispanic people and women.

When this was brought to his attention he rectified the situation.

How can you not notice? Obviously those "included due to diversity" are the "minority" so the same are selected for removal?
I mean discrimination is: if i treat someone different and worse... but if all those removed, were those added for diversity quota, then
inevitably they must be the minority... the same ones added.
If i treat one apple different than another apple , it is discrimination. but if someone needed to include pears with the apples, then obviously all the ones removed will be pears!

When you see some outrageous claim in some article, BE SKEPTICAL and do some investigating on your own (I. e., look for other versions of the story, and actually read them) instead of just accepting what you read at face value. I am okay with it. The men and women who died are always revered whether they have recognizable name or not, whether they were awarded medals or not, whether their story is highlighted or not. DEI went way too far and was nuts. It should be gone. In the army we always said “we are all green”, and we were. BS politics worked its way in and is still there are calling out the Enola Gay was deliberate to continue to drive a wedge and be decisive. F Woke!
