The Trump administration is withholding tens of millions of dollars from Planned Parenthood clinics that provide contraception, STI testing and abortion.

Nine Planned Parenthood state affiliates that receive federal money from the 55-year-old Title X family planning program got notices Monday, which they shared with POLITICO, informing them that their funding is being “temporarily withheld.” The notice pointed to “possible violations” of federal civil rights law and President Donald Trump’s executive orders — including prohibitions on promotion of diversity, equity and inclusion and “taxpayer subsidization of open borders.”

If you take their money, you take their strings. You can’t be shocked when they weaponize it. If the pro-choice side wants real security, it needs to stop being dependent on politicians and start building independent healthcare systems that the government can’t control.

Yes, I support this action. Planned Parenthood is a very partisan organization with an agenda that goes beyond sexual information and services.

I don't think this should be a federal $ but private. If people want a baby killing operation, they should fund it.

The problem is the downstream results are dangerous and expensive... children with crap parents turning into monsters.

I'm all with the democrats on this one to work on a solution, but public funding of killing innocents is not right. Public funding of contraception and care, maybe.

I'm in favor of a federal government doing what the Founding Fathers wrote in the Constitution, nothing more. The federal government has ballooned over the years into a gigantic organization that is involved in much more than the Constitution says. Reducing the size, and impact, of federal government is long overdue.
