all a gang has to do is break the windows
Here in northern California, my wife and I live on 30 acres, half way up a hill at the top of a 4/10 mile long, winding, gravel driveway, surrounded by oak grass land.
We have nearby neighbors but can't see any of their homes because of the trees.
We love the peace and quiet. We have never had any trouble in the area and don't expect any.
People in the area are farmers, ranchers, and self-sufficient types. They are prepared to defend themselves. And we network to look out for each other, whether it be for fire response, protection against predatory animals, or defense against criminals.
In our 23 years here, though, I'm not aware of any situations that required any other response other than from a fire department.
There are no bears or mountain lions. Okay, some may pass through during their extensive ramblings, but they have never bothered anyone. They mind their own business because there is plenty of natural habitat and food. Coyotes, foxes and bobcats are the only creatures that my occasionally go after someone's animals. A bobcat got some of our chickens once.
As for my place, a criminal would be taking a big chance in driving up our driveway to see if there was anything worth stealing. My wife and I are both well prepared to defend ourselves. And one call to a neighbor would be enough to block the end of our driveway and prevent an escape.
It's not illegal to shoot guns around here like it is in cities. People target practice and hunt on their property all the time.
Compare that to a suburb or city where robberies, muggings, rapes and break ins happen all the time. Those places are relatively easy pickings for drug addicts, low lifes and gangs.
Here's the thing: it was so damn dark and quiet, you could hear something a mile away. Your senses become so in tune with nature, that you can tell when it's an animal or not. If it's a big enough thing in the woods, trust me, there's a half-dozen guns to choose from before that thing gets close enough to hurt you or become your dinner.
And no subway for them to escape in 😎
But what if I'm listening to onlyfans with my fat headphones? I wouldn't hear any animal towering over my neck.
Yeah but, have you ever watched "Naked and Afraid?" Even if you were naked with just your headphones on, the bear would have a much better time being naked.
@Entertained_Adult Well, at least you will die with your dick in your hand.
@NoDecision i have a vagina in my hand. And a dick inside this luxurious realistically textured life-like mouth/vagina stroker sleeve with deep thrust and bi-rotation features.
@Entertained_Adult I sense an Exper 1 troll. 🤔
@NoDecision Are you in a remote area?
@NoDecision be happy you only sense him intuitively and don't smell him.
@Entertained_Adult No "shit"! 🤢
hi, i spent a few months down in wales, a friends family place, two houses, no modern connections at all, had to clean out the water tank, which only filled from run off woodland. we did eventually get a landline put in, and the guys said, you gotta be on drugs to live here! lol i had my german shepherd Thai with us but going out at night to the outside toilet was freaky, despite the dog, because when your perched on a typical toilet but outside in the open in the dark and that bitch starts barking!!! omg we washed in a paddling pool on the patio, cut trees down to fuel the rayburn, til the day i die, definitely up there as best time in my life... and just for fun, she was my ex husbands ex with her child... lol
Remote areas are notably much safer than living in the city. Yes, it will take longer for emergency services to arrive if you need them, but they’re rarely needed. Have you never noticed how much crime is reported in the heart of a city area versus on farm land?

Ha! Nobody is waiting for the police out here. Everyone has guns and piles of ammunition. Many have body armor. Everyone shoots often on their own property. People out here know their property like the back of their hand... Don't even think about kicking in doors. The general rule of CQB is that if this is your first time and you don’t have a trained team to back you up, your going to fucking die. Same applies to home invasions. If you try that where people have guns, and those people are often hunters and military veterans you’re going to fucking die. Shoot, shovel, and shut up is the common phase… If the cops are to be called after the bodies are stacked, the general understanding with the county sheriff usually goes somewhat along the lines of if you shoot them outside, drag them in the front door before you call it in. Castle doctrine.
There are a few instances of crime out in the country, but for the most part criminals have to be on the lookout for the dog and the shotgun. There aren't any security cameras out here. Someone really bad comes along and they just disappear. "Try that in a small town." And Yellowstone they called it taking them to the train station. No cops, no courts, no letting them back on the street and no reprisal. Just gone.
People live in remote areas to get away from the gangs and such. Gang bangers are lazy scum and most won’t bother to travel to break into one house.
Gangs are not my friends or my enemies, but I avoid them like I avoid walking on the highway.
I live in a remote area. Here is my logic. If there is nothing around you, you have nothing to fear because nothing can't hurt you. Being surrounded by nothing is actually a very safe secure feeling.
As for being attacked, criminals tend to shit on their own doorstep. It's far easier to rob the off-licence down the road than drive 20 miles on the off chance they'll have something worth stealing. Should anyone be dumb enough then one phone call and I've the road back blocked
If you've got a predator problem put an electric fence up, its just a couple of wires, as for escaped convicts 99% of them just go home then wonder why they're picked up in the morning.
Criminals are living mostly close to city centers, because there are good public traffic connections and flats financed by welfare are mostly in dense city suburbs.
A gang won't ride 100km just to steal few electronic devices. Of course Rembrandts on walls and Ming vases will attract other kind of criminals even in deepest forest, but 99% criminals avoid remote areas.
When you say remote, I think of the outback or the bush. Instead of gangs it is really medical emergencies you need to worry about. No ambulances to get you to hospital to save you.
People who live remotely know there is a good chance they won't live as long and accept it.
For one thing, we don't have as many threats to worry about.
It would be easier for a gang to attack a house like that, but those sorts of places tend not to have gangs.
A lot of people out in the sticks also have their own guns and decent community relationships.
Gangs would not last long in remote areas as they are liable to run into the business end of a shotgun even here in the UK, I've lived in the US and would rather live in rural/remote areas as the people are more polite while at the same time they let you have your privacy, and if you need help they are there ready to help.
You make a good point. I know a guy who went walking in the woods with his dog. He took a.22 round to his shoulder. Unbeknownst to him, he and his puppy wandered too close to some boys "cooking up a batch."
I respect the wilderness but there's only one animal I'm afraid of. Currently these animals are terrorising innocent Teslas owners.
Agree with you 100%.
the poster says "I would have walked up checked for cars around the area then rang the bell and knocked one or twice if i was sure there was no one home then yea it would be perfect because there is no one around. the forest blocks anyone from looking in and there is a great deal of privacy so that someone can take their time"
Again you're correct.
@mal
My hat's off to you for bringing out the stupid in stupid.
🤣😄😄
I'm saying that you asked a very intelligent question.
Yeah, they were cooking crystal.
I don’t mind renting a log cabin in the mountains for the summer but I'm not gonna live in a remote area deep into the woods. How am I gonna get out and find entertainment or go to the grocery store plus it is dangerous anything goes out there you must have good home protection fire power
Because gangs tend to frequent remote area with no population right? The ares with no population are where the action is.
Gangs don't really exist in remote areas. Besides everyone who lives in a remote area are usually armed to the teeth.
You stated "remote" not many gangs there. Also, people who live in remote areas are usually good with firearms, many probably hunt, fish, skilled in trades, and know how to take care of themselves.
@Malwi93 I was afraid at first, but after mounting the 60 caliber water cooled machine gun, with a tripod, on the roof, and claymoore mines in the yard I am alright with it.
I have a summer house on an island. I do not even lock the door and leave the keys in my truck.
Well when crime gets that bad I guess we need to regroup and go back to living like the pioneers had to.
People live in remote areas to get away from gangs. That looks like quiet rural Brandenburg.
It's the usual Dacha style. So if it's not in Berlin, it almost certainly is in Brandenburg.
A gang? That's why you live away from the city, to get away from those scum.
my grandmother live in one there's nothing to worry about as there's nothing to do there and nobody else living there you cannot be agressed
Cause "gangs" aren't usually a thing in "remote areas". Gangs are where people are. So away from people mean away from gangs.
@Malwi93 i live in remote area and a smal town is far from my house.
i have nothing to fear of.
realistically even in the big city that is all they have to do as well.
So much apathy, it can just get ignored.
because they're self-sufficient... and know guns
Because the shitrats tend to congregate in cities
And predators + animal or human, scary 😰 🤯 🤯
Know how to handle yourself. As far as breaking in lol that be the last fucking thing they do lol snatch the life right out their body with no remose and sleep like a baby
lol, people living in "remote areas" are armed to the hilt.
Are they?
@pacificopete yes.
Is everyone in the house armed?
@pacificopete You'd have to fuck around to find out.
What is there to find out when you already know they are all alarmed?
@pacificopete you're the one questioning the validity of my claim.
I respect most of your opinions but on this one you're being a fucking idiot.
@pacificopete lol. Ok you're asserting that people in red states who live in remote areas - where they're likely to encounter predators - aren't armed as a matter of course?
I never said any of that. 😭
@pacificopete then what's your point?
You claim to know that everyone in remote areas have guns and are armed to the teeth. Right?
I actually like you, but you're being a moron on this question.
You have no clue what these people have, but you're trying to pat yourself on the back.
You have no clue what people other than yourself have in their homes.
@pacificopete based on RAND’s 2016 estimates (the latest year in their dataset) for household gun ownership rates, which I’ll categorize into density tiers. These percentages reflect adults in households with guns, not per capita counts, but they’re a strong proxy for ownership density across states:
Highest Density (50%+ household ownership):
Montana: 66.3%
Wyoming: 66.2%
Alaska: 64.5%
Idaho: 60.1%
West Virginia: 58.5%
Arkansas: 57.2%
Mississippi: 55.8%
Alabama: 55.5%
South Dakota: 55.3%
North Dakota: 55.1%
These states, mostly in the Mountain West and South, would be shaded darkest on the map, indicating the highest concentration of gun-owning households.
Do I have guns?
@pacificopete don't know don't care.
You might want to rethink your strategy.
You claim to know shit that you don't know.
I have no idea who has guns in their houses and who don't.
You claim to be all knowing in this endeavor.
You f***** up on this one, buddy.
@pacificopete are you retarded? I gave you stats on gun ownership in "remote" areas.
You gotta know when to hold them, know when to fold them, know when the walkway and know when to run...
You gave me "stats"? 🤣🤣🤣🤣😭
What do the "stats" say about my gun possessions?
What guns do I have?
Do you care to find out?
What do the stats tell you?
One of us is retarded, but I'm not sure who it is.
😁😁
@pacificopete I'll help you out. It's you.
I used to respect your your opinions until you what fall out moron.
You know who has guns and who doesn't but you have no idea what guns I have.
You are a moron.
Just own it.
@pacificopete how the fuck are the two related, numnuts? I don't know which individuals have only one arm but can tell you that the majority of humans have two arms.
Yet you post your moronic statistics. 😁😁😁😁😁😁
What if any guns do I have, Nostradamus? 🤣🤣🤣😭😭
Chuck-a-luck, try your luck.
@pacificopete I'd guess whatever guns you have are pink with glitter cause you're sounding like a fag.
When did you turn into such a tard?
The lady who asked this question made a very intelligent point. But you assured her that you had a magical database that said that everyone in the country has guns and are armed to the teeth.
Is this magical database available to the public, because I'm sure there are a lot of bad people who would love to have what you have.
@pacificopete are you a fucking idiot? Are you trying to fuck OP is that why you're white knighting?
When I was a teenager my dad bought me an ought six. It was a Canon that almost blew my arm off.
We had the most elaborate hunting camp you could imagine. Army tents with wood stoves inside.
I asked Dad how he knew no one would Rob us when we were out hunting. He just smiled.
Remember that line from dirty Harry? "Well punk, do you feel lucky?"
When you're out in the wilderness, nothing could be a truer question.
But you claim to know which tents are heavily armed and which tents aren't, because you have a magical database.
Good luck.
@pacificopete hey fucktard. You're literally arguing for no reason. You proved my point. People in remote areas are likely to be armed. Which is literally what I said.
Go back and read what you wrote, moron. You never said "likely."
🤣🤣
The lady who asked the question is absolutely correct. You just don't know who the morons are. You're a perfect example of that.
@pacificopete lol. you're really desperate to be contrary. Are you a chick or something?
I said that there are crazy people in the rural area.
Who is the contrary moron?
You talk about my Pink guns and all that horse shit, but you know that I am right and you're wrong.
You fucked up. I used to like your posts, but now I can see you have mental issues.
@pacificopete I must have missed the part where you liking me is important. You can’t be right when you don’t even have a point.
I've liked many of your posts, but that was before you became a complete idiot. People in rural areas are all safe because they all own guns. You have proof of this because of your magical database you pulled out of your ass.
Now you are of no use to me. You are the garbage person that you are. I was actually concerned about the woman who posted this. You only care about being right.
You're pathetic.
@pacificopete How will I ever recover from the fact some white knight can’t fucking read and decides to get butthurt about it.
The wilderness is safe, because everybody has guns
You're absolutely right about this.
@pacificopete when did I say “everyone” shit for brains?
"keep a living and remote areas are armed to the hilt."
@pacificopete “people have two arms” - does that mean 100% of every person who has ever lived has two arms? No you fuckin moron. It’s a generalization. Maybe your flavor of autism doesn’t understand the difference.
Being out in the boondocks is fine with me. My state allows me to shoot them for breaking in….
They can do that anywhere, we count of the fuck no one cares to get this far 🤣 It helps if you know how to defend yourself.
Cause I like being around people, COVID nearly killed me not the disease it’s self but lockdown the boredom.
Lol rural folk will keep you safer than the police.
Living in the country means no one can hear the screams.
Peace and quiet. Plus you can be as loud as you like without disturbing the neighbors.
Because people don’t think about evil things
And all I have to do is open fire.
No gangs in remote areas.
That's why they invented guns
Overwhelming fire power.
Because N words don't live in remote areas
I have a dog and a pump shotgun.
I'm not afraid I just wouldn't want too
Some people prefer privacy.
