Before I moved from the US to Australia a lot of Americans were afraid to visit Australia because of all the poisonous animals that live there. However, when I got to Australia, many Australians were terrified of coming to the US because of all the large animals there that could maul you (wolves, cougars and bears). I asked them how they felt about visiting places that had lions and tigers but a lot were even more afraid of coming to the US than those places. The reason being was that because while lions and tigers stick to the countryside, they saw videos of black bears venturing into suburban areas and breaking into houses and the thought of not having a "safe area" like a town where you didn't have to worry about encounters with big predators in the area terrified them.
No - unless you count mosquitoes and other small biting insects. There are some places I don't like to visit because they drive me crazy.
Otherwise, I've been a lot of places, some with dangerous animals - but the people are more dangerous than the animals almost everywhere

mosquitoes would keep me away from hot bushy and humid jungles, yes...
Afraid to visit completely, NO, because I can just stick to the cities. But there are many places where I wouldn't go hiking in the woods because of dangerous animals
Nope, the animals are a reason to go in my opinion. It's the laws in other countries that scare me, not the wildlife.
No, just the people.
