I'd say yes because I have been on either side of this spectrum especially mentally because when I was younger I was made to believe to be not that very attractive and so I lived all my teenage years as if I were unattractive and my perspective definitely changed and I interacted differently with the world and people around me.
Same here
🫶🙏
if I became much less attractive then my life would just go back to what it was from when I was a teen, would suck but I already experienced it.
It wouldn't change at all if I became more attractive though cause I'm already considered as very attractive
would only change if I became less attractive

yea and it already has. i used to be fat (and at some point unkept and with a bad skin condition at the same time as being fat) and i've been pretty skinny. already when i was fat i noticed that the slimmer i was vs the heavier i was, impacted a lot how i was treated. i also noticed then that how good i dress, impacted stuff a lot. as well as wearing makeup. but the most shocking thing was when i went from fat to normal. i did this when i was 18 1/5-19, and i the worst thing about it is i noticed even grown asss adults and old people were much nicer to me than before when i was a teen. it's a bit heartbreaking. i also noticed people were nicer to me when i was lower on the healthy bmi spectrum. how i was treated did impact how i acted and viewed the world. when i was at my ugliest i was scared of meeting new people, was a bit scared of acting confrontational or angry, i couldnt say no (people walked on me), i was scared to express my individuality or to stand out, i was also turned off of liking certain things because i felt too ugly to like them. when i was still fat but actually took care of my appearance besides the weight issue, i did feel dramatically happier and more confident socially and was finally able to express myself (i used to dress really extravagantly for ex), to stand up for myself and be more social. i kinda viewed the world as my oyster lowkey, and was unashamed of myself. but with other teens i did have some social anxiety at times because i was still fat. i still felt i had to try a bit harder than others to be accepted the same, but at least here i could be accepted and i was more popular. when i got skinny that's when it changed even more for me. i realized now i could have shit skin and wear a tracksuit and i'd be treated the same as glamed up fat me or even better. i noticed people tolerate a lot more my shortcomings or flaws than when i was fat, and i have much less rude interactions with people. the default of how people treat me now vs when i was fat is noticeably better. people are nice on default. i'm not scared of people anymore. i dont have social struggles or difficulties, because i know i'll be accepted. but i'm much less confident than when i was at my skinniest and ironically, glamed fat era. i feel down on myself and insecure about my looks now because i know i'm only a 5-6/10 face wise and kinda chubby. i'm pretty perfectionistic now and hold myself to much higher standards than before too.
I know for a fact that it does and it’s horrifying.
I hit puberty early, when I was 12 I suddenly had the body of a bombshell pinup girl. My entire childhood I had been bullied at school for being the weird kid (it was undiagnosed autism, shocker) and then all of a sudden I was getting way more attention. In the moment, I didn’t know how to process it. I didn’t know why the kids that had excluded me all my life were suddenly interested in spending time with me, flirting with me, it was weird and I didn’t trust any of them. As an adult I now know that I was seeing the most shallow parts of their personality and how quickly they did a 180 was just that way of them showing how they wanted something from me.
The thing is I got a big chest so young because I was meant to have a big body and that’s just what grew first. My family has always been pretty stocky, so I grew up stocky too. And when I gained that weight that attention was gone and the world was as I knew it to be again. I don’t want to be that attractive anymore. If someone is only going to notice me or care about me because I’m conventionally pretty, I know it means I would constantly question if they really liked me or not and I don’t want a relationship that can go away the minute I don’t look like how they want me to look.
People are immensely kinder and nicer to attractive people (unless that person has a very bad attitude). I work in customer service, and I unknowingly serve people whom I find attractive better than those I don't have an opinion of. Age does not matter in this. people are nicer to me on the days I make an effort to dress up compared to me walking out in the streets with a t-shirt and pants. im speaking from experience.
Yes, people who are physically attractive alway have an advantage. Especially girls.
Yes, I think it would, most likely, especially if I would become much more attractive.
No. I'd still be my bubbly self
