The 3 month pause in tariffs is brutal for business. It's a while quarter where you are unsure of what your costs are going to be and it's impossible to plan ahead. Unknown costs are the worst thing for business because it creates so much instability. I've got a business in the US and while tariffs have had horrible results on economies whenever they've been tried, it's much better than being wishy washy. I wish he would make up his mind and stick with a plan so businesses can start to planning again knowing what to expect in the second half of the year. 6 months to come up with a tariff plan is ridiculous. He had plenty of time to think about it and small businesses with tight margins are closing, so if this is a negotiating tactic then he's failing the American people
