The supreme Court is in the process of deciding.

yes, but in no way should women wear outfits like noted above. It's an act of violence to wear a nun outfit... if you've ever been whacked on the hand by a nun you know...
But then... should they be "muslim", hindu, christian... ugh, I don't know. Pretty soon have gihadi schools where they teach 1st graders to use AK47s like they do in gaza.
we used to have catholic schools in my area, the kids were ok if not bratty, just like the public school. Wasn't much different. Christian schools seem better. Most of all though, we need teachers in charge of the classrooms and parents trained moreso, need to get troubled kids out of the classroom to resources so they don't damage the whole. Every area needs to be able to deal with their student population unique needs.
If parents only knew what their kids were dealing with in schools... they really should sit in on classes or be recorded, and teachers should get tips for doing an exceptional job, recognition for such!
My short answer is yes. The United States Constitution. does not provide for the separation of religion and federal government. The only thing it does prohibit is making laws establishing or prohibiting. religion.
Islam is wholly incompatible with Western Judeo-Christian civilization. Full stop.
Absolutely they should. At this stage anything that helps raise failing education standards must be encouraged. When I lived in England Catholic schools were almost impossible to get your kids into because of the high academic results their pupils got. I didn't get in so was forced to go to one of the failing state schools until my parents pulled me out to be homeschooled. Even teachers were trying their damdest to work there, no one assaulted a teacher there and if they did they'd be expelled and the school wouldn't be forced to take them back by the school board (that happened in the school i was at).
At the school i was at the danger was after school where the boys were getting stabbed by gang members and the girls were getting gang raped.
Yes. Something is wrong with SOCIETY. The school is the remedy

ABSO-FUCKING-LUTELY NOT!!! It's a scam!! It's hypocrisy. It's dangerous.

He / him if it matters. Religious schools can fund themselves.
Any school that uses public dollars should be SUPERVISED & HELD TO THE SAME STANDARDS AS PUBLIC SCHOOL.
That means no charters or religious schools getting public funds.
That's why it matters to me!
I am not sure. I went to a Catholic college. It is not like they had nuns for professors and you had to pray every day. If a school is just affiliated with the church and does not limit students to being Catholic I suppose It would be okay.
I would prefer some form of school choice for students instead.
No. Just no
Catholic schools are better than public schools for the most part.
I just learned today that the "separation of church and state" isn't actually in the constitution.
If it was, the supreme Court wouldn't be addressing this right now. And think about this... If there are over 4,000 religions in the world, who is right? Is the pathetic push towards teaching children to change their sex a type of religion?
Better? Lol. Ok 🆗👌🏻
@DrPepper12 Much better. I know many people who graduated from them including myself. They have all been successful. Every single one I know.
Nuns are trained in sadism, not pedagogy. I survived.
@DrPepper12 Maybe you needed it. I probably did. Straightened me out enough to succeed.
I had the temerity to ask Sister Robert how she graded us in religion. Hope that bitch rits in hell.
@DrPepper12 I had a nun so old we called her Sister Rossetta Stone, but she was deadly with an eraser. I did get a very good education, we also had nonreligious kids from Fort Hamilton attend the same classes, except religious instructions, back in the 50s.
I see no reason that ANY religious school can not become a charter school as long as the child can opt out of the spiritual teaching, and that should be vigorously monitored so that it remains free of religious instruction for the nonreligious students.
It's impossible.
@DrPepper12 Would not hurt to try a limited trial to see if it is feasible, anything is better than what is offered, as an education would be 100% better than what is supposed to be an education
It's impossible
For every Jesus one there should be an equivalent for all denominations and they shouldn't be tax exempt.
Of course. A Charter School can be run by any organization.
