i will know if you are lying
Not much would happen. We'd have to relabel compasses but the earth would still spin in the same direction, and people would not notice it. Only scientists would notice a magnetic swap. The earth has done this several tines in the past, and will likely do it again.
Probably the collapse of civilisation. Climate change, the loss of all electricity, solar radiation. We think of things as permanent and fixed in regards to the earth but in reality we are very vulnerable. Even a simple volcanic eruption in Iceland could blot out the sun for years. Some say the Sahara desert is only 2-4000 years old for instance but now it's huge. North Africa and the middle east were once a very fertile green place but now look at it.
It would cause havoc for animals that use it for migration.
There would be turmoil and likely lots of mishaps. Guidance systems would be screwed and planes may not get to where there going (YES down but not where they should be or in a good state.
This has happened through the history of the planet so wait and see
The update isn't correct. The rotation of the earth might wobble but it won't stop gravity or the rotation either. The rotation will carry on as it is because that's not causing the magnetic field of the earth because that is caused by the movement inside the earth of high pressure magma and the large amount of iron the earth is made from moving around.
it would cause catastrophic plate tectonic activity leading to every natural disaster known to man in the following week and that's if you somehow survived the day.

People in Australia would no longer be walking upside down.
Worldwide cataclysmic events (flooding, earthquakes, destruction of entire cities), most likely.
this is the closest to the correct answer
A 180 degree pole shift in 24 hours? So a 12,000 mile migration of the Earth's nickel iron core 180 degrees opposed to the axis of rotation of the planet. The planet would not survive. Think of a giant gyroscope.
The geographic north and south poles don't actually change, but the magnetic poles have switched multiple times.
No one really knows. But it's suspected that the poles may have "switched" a few times since the Earth has been here.
Nothing will happens. It should be occurring soon if not happened already. It has occurred many times in earth’s history, I am guessing every 10,000 years. How did I do?
The water would go down your drain opposite of what it used to do.
Nothing. There is no south pole. The earth is flat.
If that would happen, Eskimos would live in the South and penguins would live in the North pole.
I bet all the compasses would go crazy.
the Electric motors will run in reverse.
Magnetic or socio-political?
It would mess up the compass on my cane.
Compasses and animals would get messed up.
Compass needles will swing
