My can of plain ole coffee used to cost $9.99/can for years and now it's $13.99/can!
How can members on here keep saying that the videos that I put up aren't really what's happening?

I was taught to save for rainy days. so always be ready with an umbrella/extra cash.
I started to make money at age 11…and helped my family with groceries… I have only seen prices go up never seen prices come down.
on the other hand… I learned to make enough so I don’t rely on the government or not have enough.
I have traveled enough to see others pay a lot more… and kinda trapped.
in the US, we still have the opportunity to go beyond the so call “limitations”.
such as … they pay a lot more for gas than us and make a lot less than us.

Don’t expect things will come down.. if it does… then we have more money 😊

Economics are a multi factoral problem. One major problem. Whenever a county with a massive deficit prints money and gives it back to citizens. Like what was done during covid. They have changed the inherent value of money.. there is inflationary pressure up. Add in massive profits taken at that time as the supply chains were restored. Plus a significant uptick in salaries to support those higher prices. You get inflation. Stop government spending, particularly subsidized business, that are providing a service that drain taxes, tax so called unrealized capitol gains if people take out loans against them, pay down the deficit. The drive to constantly enrich stockholders will either slow or provide more tax to the system. If the deficit goes down the dollar goes up. Decrease the stockholder pressure for massive growth and prices will slow down. Without wrecking the economy.

Well let's see. Gold just started going up but there are still jobs there getting closer tho the government has not even tried to stop it. The rich get richer poor and middle class will go broke so now we are broke there's no food and they THEY AS IN GOVERNMENT will want to open THE GOVRRMEANT BANK OF THE United States. And they will tell us if we put our money in their bank. We will get some kind of Surprise. And that.
's surprise will be if you talk bad about the government They don't ever have to give you their money because Nobody is watching them so now we're poor we're broke And no food. Now they have.
Their THUMB ON They have an agenda that's for sure. Do you see them trying to fix anything NOT EVEN .. OUR GOVERNMENT It's getting closer and closer to fUCKING us all.

If you want prices to go down, we either have to wait for trump to be either Impeached, his term to end (Assuming he doesn't coup AGAIN!) or die from his diabetes and Iranian assassin or a cartel hit squad. I mean he's basically pissed off the whole world there are countries that want to kill him now so objectively there's a solid chance someone will get him especially since the secret service seem incompetent. Hell a crazy liberal could try something I mean he's already had 3 attempts on his life 2 by Americans and a third plot from Iran was foiled.

As long as he keeps weaponizing tariffs to do what he wants the value of the dollar is going to keep getting worse. The DOW has crashed and it's graph looks like a heart monitor of someone having a heart attack. Even when it spikes though it hasn't recovered to where it was before the tariffs so objectively from a math perspective he's made every American poorer.

Also those who notice take it up one themselves to notice. But they still may not care.

The ones who notice are the ones who care and it affects them, in big ways, regarding their spending/budgeting limits. I’ve noticed that too and it was quite disappointing. I share your disappointment in this matter.

With coffee there other factor which increase coffee price. Big corporation buy coffee producers from governments which need always money and make a price oligopoly, this happens to many products like Cocoa and some spices like nutmeg or vanilla.

Change buying habits, drink more tea or water. go to the gym instead. I heard there were problems with coffee harvests and cocoa.  inflation is reality and has been a long time.
