Is it wrong of me to like my mostly-white hometown?

My hometown has always been predominantly white. When the Xiden regime ruled, that changed during his reign. We experienced a mass influx of foreigners and illegal aliens. The scenery and culture was being bombarded with outsiders, and my hometown was quickly losing its charm.

Now that Trump is in office, normalcy has returned. Mexicans and Latinos are pretty much non-existent here now in such a short amount of time. I drove around west Knoxville today, paying close attention to drivers and people out in public, at I have noticed a restoration of my community.

Knoxville, and east Tennessee in general, are one of the last predominantly-white regions in the entire nation. I want to have this preserved.

I know people from around Chattanooga area. It can be rough. East TN as a whole is generally mostly white, especially as you get around Appalachia and the Cumberland plateau areas. West Knoxville is still mostly white. Johnson City is definitely mostly white. I thought about considering somewhere outside Cookeville.

I grew up in Farragut area. Mostly white rich people. Good schools, churches (you have First Baptist Concord... don't attend there now), and just overall a good community. They are ruining the area though with high density apartments. Farragut just recently build a new "downtown", but it mostly consists of high density housing. It sucks.

Well that may be Peducah. There are all sorts of diverse cities out there if that is what you seek. It doesn't mean all places have to be socially engineered and diversified. If I wanted more racial and ethnic diversity, I'd move back to Atlanta area. There is also Charlotte, Jacksonville, Los Angeles, etc...

I do like my predominantly white, upper-middle-class family towns. That is what I grew up in and that is what I am familiar with. Good schools, churches, subdivision neighborhoods, parks, amentities, etc... and low crime rates

The one and only complaint I have about Knox County is their privatized, subscription-based emergency services. Sadly, fire and emergency services are treated like second-class here in Tennessee. It bothers me because I used to work in EMS. That is the one thing I am trying to advocate for.

Yeah, the thing about a lot of these very small towns is that they are clique, and sadly, poor and decaying. I used to work EMS in various rural counties. These areas are very depressing and poverty-striken.
