If reality is the sum of what exists then, unless we have all tools and means to access it, we can't embrace reality. Without these tools, we can access a fragment of reality at best, because our perceptions, senses and thoughts are heavily influenced by subjectivity

Also, if reality exists separate from our senses and thinking processes, things get complicated because reality is a concept, from a human point of view, from a limited brain. If suddenly all human brains ceased to function then what happens to reality remains unknown because knowing something implies a brain to know it.

I think if a shark is chomping on your leg... you know that is real. other divers see the shark chomping. one or two people see something different... doesn't change reality.

Id say it's not an illusion (it's real) but a is translation by some.

it may be in some greater sense, an illusion... like life is just a translation of light/energy/matter.

Even if we are figments of a retard kids imagination or brains in a vat.., that is is OUR reality. There are scientific metrics to prove our reality does exist, could be the matrix. But until it changes it’s ours.
