The question that should be asked is "Why is he still in the country?"

His student visa has been revoked by the State Department. There is an official State Department deportation order for him. The federal statures clearly state that his visa can be revoked at any time by the State Department. After his visa is revoked he can be deported. He is not a student anymore. He is just here to cause trouble.

Again, WHY IS HE STILL HERE?

Nope. Stop reading the NY post

Calling him a permanent resident does not give him some special status. The crazy moonbat governeo where I livr calls illegal aliens "newcomers", like it makes a difference. He was a green card holder but his green card can be revoked for a number of reasons.
The US government can revoke green card status if it involves national security or foreign policy interests, but the process must follow constitutional due process protections.

This guy was clearly a threat to the security of the US. He was only in the country to make trouble on campus.

It's a legal term in every democratic country that allow a foreign national as a resident to be afforded access as a citizen to benefits such as medical care, unemployment benefits if they're part of what citizens are given, employment rights and benefits as well as legal protection from authorities. NOT the same as diplomatic immunity which is another legal status of foreign nationals.

@Shiprex They are illegal aliens. Calling them "Undocumented Citizens" or "Newcomers" or even "immigrants" does not change that.
They broke the law by entering the country and they will be deported.

An alien is an organism that is not like the other organisms. Are they humans? Yes therefore IMMIGRANT is the term otherwise you can say tourists are aliens and you can guess how many Karen's and Keenans would get pissed and wet themselves complaining about that terminology. It is only the right wing who regard ASYLUM seekers as breaking the law. Immigrants have a RIGHT to seek asylum, just as they have a RIGHT to seek residency. Entering a country is NOT an illegal act.

That kind of language you know who else used it to conduct their horrors in the 20th century?

@Shiprex No, they are different. They are not legal residents. They are not in compliance with US law. What if they were murderers? would they be like everyone else? How about if they robbed banks? Are bank robbers like the rest of us?
The only reason that the democrats are fighting so hard to keep them in the country is that they are tying their whole future on the illegal alien vote. All their previous voting blocks are heading for the exits. Union membership, Hispanics and Gen Z voters have all voted for Trump and Trump got twice the number of black voters in 2024 than he did in 2016.
The democrats are desperate to find a group to replace those voters.
Trump won all 7 so called swing states and has made gains in states like New Jersey and even California. 20 million new voters can sway elections if they can be distributed to the right locations.

Trump won because Americans are to scared of a female president. They're immature and still believe in the MAN AS A LEADER bollox and how MEN are stronger, more powerful, decisive blah blah blah with 5 years old logical reasoning in spite of history showing female leaders are more ruthless in war (they expend mens lives more readily) than male leaders.

You all need to let mother take the reigns as Toddler Trump doesn't have a clue and makes the nation look pathetic.

You are that sure the world thinks this clown show is a sign America is stronger now? The world is looking AWAY from the US because it's "unstable genius" is behaving like a toddler in a Jabba the Hutt suit and his regular blubberings in front of camera are an embarrassment.
You know the Whitehouse has HAD to quit scribing his speeches for they're so unhinged and rambling gibberish, the history books will wonder why the nation allowed an evidently incapable moron to be in charge.

I think a more important Q, and to correct your own more quickly, l: Why isn't trump in jail, yet? (Even bannon said as soon as he leaves office trump is going to jail) trump released convicted felons and hosts the deported/ now reimported ones in the US... then locks up innocence based to his own deep seeded insecurities.

Oops, maybe this is what due process in court is for

A revoked green card means the U. S. government has determined that a green card holder is no longer eligible to reside in the country. This can happen due to various violations of immigration laws, including fraud in the green card application process, involvement in illegal activities like drug trafficking, or serious crimes.
The green card is granted based on specific eligibility criteria. If a green card holder is found to have misrepresented information, engaged in illegal activities, or committed serious crimes, their green card can be revoked.
While lawful permanent residents (green card holders) have First Amendment rights, including free speech, their green card status can be revoked if their actions are deemed a security risk by the government, even if those actions are expressed through speech. The government can also revoke visas and green cards if they believe individuals are associated with groups deemed to be a threat. Hate speech, while protected under the First Amendment, can be a factor in determining if an individual is a security risk.
Mahmoud Khalil, a green card holder and Palestinian rights advocate, was arrested and detained, with the government citing national security concerns related to his activism.

Whether he's is deported or not in the end is another matter. But any green card holder could be deported because they are not citizens for supporting extremist far right groups like Neo nazis, hamas, ISIS, Al queda etc. Any civilised country would do the same.

Then how is he in jail and about to be deported depending on immigration judge's ruling? If he's in contact with HAMAS, been speaking anti American or antisemitic hate speech, committed a crime or committed fraud on his green card application he's likely gone.
And you may see new legislation brought in to make it easier to revoke green cards.
I'm reminded of that girl born in the US the Biden administration wouldn't let back in because she ran away to join ISIS, she was told that she was not a citizen.

In the US, the selection of judges at the federal level differs significantly from how they are chosen at the state level. Federal judges are not elected, but are appointed by the President and confirmed by the Senate. State judges, on the other hand, can be selected through a variety of methods, including election, appointment, or a combination of both, with many states employing elections for at least some of their judges.
