For the Conservative brain it's more like a dog brain. If it's not happening to them and it's not happening at this moment, it doesn't exist. They have no concept of a past or future. They can't learn. They can't connect the dots of actions with possible outcomes.

Progressive brains have the cognitive power and the introspective capacity to connect those dots and ask... "What if that happened to me or someone I know"?
