California is a shit hole and Washington and Oregon have been trashed as well. NY. NJ, CT, RI, Mass and Illinois are all third world hell holes. California has 50% of the nations homeless population and the largest budget deficit. the only reason President Trump hasn't put California into receivership is that he does not want the taxpayers to be burdened by bailing out a state that has been so mismanaged.
The whole rest of the country is doing just fine. People are employed, crime is manageable and they are not burdened by liberal polices that only create the problems Republicans try to solve.

I live in a red state and most of it comes down to shitty spending just like the Democrats. My home town is a great example of this. The republican idea of progress seems to be spending several hundred thousand dollars on vanity projects to increase property value meanwhile the roads on the edge of town haven't been re paved in over 20 years. Just nasty black tar fillings to the point the road is half tar in some places.

Anonymous(45 Plus)11 moWherever the population is more dense (cities), the mindset is going to be bluer. Away from the cities, the mindset will typically be redder. It has nothing to do with wealth, or the lack thereof. The people outside of the cities have a tendency to be harder-working, and have more Godly conservative values.

@UrbanLeather If they were they'd have similar laws and policies in place as blue states. Shop lifting would be legal, criminals wouldn't be prosecuted, homosexual pornography would be in elementary schools, perverts dressed up like the women would be shaking their asses in kids faces in the library. Homeless camps full of filthy junkies would line the streets of every city and the police would do nothing.
