11 moI think America is very racist, kind of casually so, but still very racistā¦or at least ānegatively prejudiced in their expectations of behavior and character.ā And that sucks.
Iād say we probably have a lot more of it in some senses, due to our diversity and just general population sizeā¦maybe like more groups being racist to one another (with differing levels of societal impactā¦white racism towards others is more of a systematic problem, as weāve seen here, and most notably in South Africaā¦. vs two āminorityā groups who donāt like each other.
If you ask an Afro-Cuban still living in Cuba, to have them tell it, Castro wasnāt perfect, but he led them against the lightskinned Cubans we mostly now call āFloridiansā (largely elderly or dead by now, but descendants of them), so heās still a hero to them for liberating them from the racially oppressive Cubans weāve welcomed here as basically refugeesā¦. but they were the original assholes in the situation, independent of what you might think about how things went afterwards or your feelings on Communism. The Revolution occurred in large part due to Hispanic-Latino racism vs Afro-Latinos.
China currently is committing all kinds of human rights abuses against a Turkic Muslim ethnic group called the Uyghurs.
White colonists in Australia literally hunted Aborigines for sport back in the day. They still deal with racism today, plus thereās racism towards Africans, Indians, Asians, etc who have immigrated there.
Even Canada, I definitely know of some stories of Black Canadian hockey players dealing with racism on their journey. I think they have a good amount of anti-immigrant sentiment too. They donāt always treat First Nations indigenous people well either.
It feels like almost everywhere has some stupid internal bullshit. But obviously the less homogenous you are, the more open you are to seeing itā¦. but thatās no reason to promote homogeneity.
Cliff Notes: humans are dumb, racism is everywhere

Why do you think that all kinds of minorities and "oppressed people" work for years to immigrate to western countries, and why many non-western countries have fences to keep their people IN.
Asians from all over the continent are ridiculously racist, including with each other. Plenty of Africans are racist and tribalist. Tribalism is common in much of the third world.
The main reason you even know about western racism is because race grifting is a big business in western countries. Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton and most on the board of the NAACP are multi-millionaires because they have extorted companies out of billions, and skimmed plenty for themselves. It's also a political wedge issue. The whole DEI fiasco was a racist grift by those supposed victims, who were often paid several hundred grand a year to discriminate illegally. Thankfully we've shut that down in the US.33 Reply
Asker11 moInteresting, so everyone are idiots š¤
No, it exists in many other countries unfortunately. As far as I know it exists and sometimes there are places that are even more racist. For example, in Mexican culture there is colorism and along with colorism there is also classism. If you ever watch Mexican telenovelas there are many lighter skinned people (contrary to how western culture sees us, which is usually darker skinned). And there is actually a video where Sergio Goyri criticizes a Mexican actress, Yalitzia, who is darker skinned. There is definitely racism in other places we just donāt see it because we are not aware of it in the forms that people that live in other regions are aware of it. But similar to how Asian cultures experience colorism and like to favor fairer skin as well and I can go on with more examples. Racism is not isolated to one region unfortunately.

Definitely not. There's known racism in many parts of the world, it's just not necessarily talked about in the same way and isn't necessarily rooted in the same violence (at least in recent history) that accompanies western racism.
You can look at japan, for example. The country is moderately racist towards pretty much anyone not Japanese to some degree (they're largely anti-immigration still), but are even more so towards people of African decent. It's just that Japanese racism is just sort of passive if that makes sense? It's not slurs, it's not violence; it's worse service, less polite language, quiet exclusion, profiling, etc. Really insidious over all. Similar stuff pops up all over, it's just that because it's not violent or agressive the way racism has been in the west, it's not as widely acknowledged.

11 moNah, it's far worse in non-Western countries. I think it just seems this way because in the West, someone is always bitching about it.
If you call a black person in India, Asia, the Middle East or even most of Europe an "N worder", no one is gonna scold you or ruin your life over it. They'll either support you, or won't care. But this also extends to non-Whites being racist towards Whites, especially if they are a minority. In East Asian countries for instance, racism is mainstream and isn't seen as a bad thing. Even if someone gets called a slur or gets discriminated against, they're not gonna make a fuss about it, because it will only hurt THEM.
I remember reading a story about a black American girl studying in Portugal who sent an e-mail to her teacher about using the N word, and the teacher shamed her in front of the entire class and straight up told her, she's not gonna tell her what she can and can't say in HER classroom!
It's always hilareous when they realize their brown privlige gets them nowhere in other countries.
So really, when you say "Western", it's really only a few countries like USA, Canada, UK and maybe New Zealand and Australia.
In other countries even if they don't like it, they just stay quiet because they know the majority will be against them. But in the countries I've mentioned, they learned they can just bitch to the media or HR and get special treatment. They don't realize that this is only making people MORE racist. Instead, they should be setting a good example for their race.
10 Reply 2.8K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Stuff it, Chico.
If millions of people poured into your country that were white, Asian, black or whatever, there would be hate from you and yours. Even if you spent years being accommodating and they kept coming by the millions, you would have a problem too.
Except people donāt want to pour into your area because you havenāt built anything worth leaving home for to move there. But letās say millions of Chinese came in as an example. You would be racist. Letās say that thousands another race came right into your hometown also and set up large gangs that kill the other gangs and many, many other people then sell drugs everywhere. You would be racist.
People with loser cultures who wonāt assimilate or even try but want what you have will eventually piss you off. People that wave other flags, commit crimes, steal from the system would piss you off.
I think success brings in everyone else who wants a piece of what you built and they flood in without a care and then are surprised when people get fed up⦠but you learn a new word, racism, and that makes everything okay as you destroy what was built.
So again, stuff it Chico. No one cares what you say. Take on white values which are winner values, and be accepted or be an ass flying another flag, doing the same sh! t that got your original country nowhere, and sit in that crap and complain.
00 Reply2.8K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Yup, the old trope, evil racist white people. They've destroyed their own countries with white guilt and mass immigration. Such a paradise Britain has become since we've opened up our doors to the third world.
I'm not a racist.
But I'm definitely a culturalist.
Never have any issues with south-east Asians.
Pattern recognition or stereotyping is ultimately a survival instinct. If people's experience of others was ultimately good in the past, they wouldn't be 'afeard'.
People need to ultimately take responsibility for their lives, and just do better. Rather than blaming all their problems on evil whitie.

Anonymous(18-24)11 moI mean pale skin existed as a beauty standard in ancient China and Japan, way before they come into contact with the Westerners. Also, the Barbary corsairs (aka the Moors) did capture and enslave white Europeans in the Mediterranean. Even nowadays in India and East Asian countries there's huge prejudice and discrimination toward darker-skinned people and skin-lightening products have become extremely popular.. so no, I don't think so. Unfortunately discrimination and intolerance based on looks, ethnicity, socioeconomic class and lots of others factors/traits seems to be rooted in human nature

Thatās one of the primary issues.
Others include overwhelming inability and unwillingness to recognize and meaningfully treat mental illness, and the deluded belief that massive racial and cultural integration is inherently superior to homogeneous societies. Thereās little historical evidence to support the latter. The idea is driven entirely by a false sense of moral superiority.00 Reply 5.6K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Racism and bigotries and prejudices are instinctive and will exist until the sun explodes. To combat them, people need to grow up, be capable of thinking abstractly (which many can't thus they get bitchy about "wokeness"), and override their bigotries. I did.

Adolf Hitler whom was part of Thule Society which later was transformed into the Nazi party followed the leadership and guidance of a close mentor Baron Rudolf von Sebottendorff who happened to write the following book... Baron Rudolf von Sebottendorff happened to travel to Turkey where he learned these ideas and converted to Sufi Islam.

Albert Speer. recorded a lot about what Adolf Hitler had to say, things such as "Itās been our misfortune to have the wrong religion,ā Hitler complained to his pet architect Albert Speer. āWhy did it have to be Christianity, with its meekness and flabbiness?ā Islam was a MƤnnerreligionāa āreligion of menāāand hygienic too. The āsoldiers of Islamā received a warriorās heaven, āa real earthly paradiseā with āhourisā and āwine flowing.ā This, Hitler argued, was much more suited to the āGermanic temperamentā than the āJewish filth and priestly twaddleā of Christianity.

Hitler of course also drew from the antisemitic writings of Martin Luther who sided with the Muslim Ottoman Turks against the Pope in a holy war. Thus why the Protestants where the Germans that helped vote Adolf Hitler into power where as the Catholics opposed him. Protestant Christians in the war with the Pope, minted crescent coins you know like the Muslim Cresent which they wore around their necks in their war with Catholics... In case you can't read that, it is Dutch Liever Turks dan Paaps meaning "Rather Turkish than Popish". Thus Protestants would rather be Muslims than to follow Christ under the Pope. Thus why when Protestants migrated to the Americas, they were more receptive to Islamic ideas of racism and the slave trade.
