British G@G users, do you celebrate the fourth of July in England?

The war didn't end then in Britain, it continued with France for several years resulting in tens of thousands of deaths. The American thing was more a conflict within a larger war.
Only people with the surname “Washington” in England celebrate the 4th of July; they can be found in the village of Washington in County Durham. 🙃
Whitehaven grants American boats free mooring on the day in celebration of being the only place invaded. I'm pretty sure Americans put on a display there or something
Every time my old church in England got a donation from it's daughter church in Stamford CT on July 4th the minister made sure to thank the Lord for the suckers from America...
Tbh, we're pretty indifferent. I think a lot of Brits might not even know you were one of our colonies.

LOL, Yeah, we finally got rid of the trash, and our former colony of the united states has been downhill since, to boot.
Why would we celebrate a small colony failing to pay their taxes?
Considering many Brits seem ashamed of their colonialism, they should.
Why would you celebrate something you lost?
Why on earth would they?
Same reason lots of parents celebrate getting rid of their kids.
Most parents want to keep their kids. Right up until they turn into teenage tw*ts. Even then, they sometimes try to control them after the brats have flown the nest.
The analogy is bang on.
Gold! 🤣💦
It’s called “Take the L day” there.
