If Conservative christians are not real christians, should we take it as conservatives are excluded when leftists trash talk christians?

Think about all the "christian are pedos" and other bullshit leftists claims about christians.

Now take the golden ticket Leftards have given us by claiming conservatives are not real christians.

Take christians. Remove the conservatives. Let leftards own up to that conservatives are now excluded from their negativity directed at christians and enjoy giving their negativity exclusively to those "real christians" who are not Conservatives.

If they are not real christians they are not real enough to be on the receiving end of negativity from leftards. Let them have fun having Conservatives excluded from their negativity directed at christians, and let them stand by their opinions, both that Conservatives are not real christians, AND their negativity about christians at the same time.

More like the opposite. If people are speaking negatively about "christians" they're probably talking specifically about conservatives because those are people who claim "christian values" as grounds for their opinions but, to an outsider, don't seem to follow the main teachings of the bible, which is, as far as I can tell, centered around kindness, acceptance, charity, etc. People who do act on those teaching will rarely be in line with the conservative movement because it's so exclusionary and controlling.

In terms of "real" christianity, the only tenant I really object to is the idea that you should intentionally spread your religion to people that are not otherwise inclined towards it. In terms of conservative "christianity", I object to pretty much everything they focus on, since most of it seems to have to do with controlling the people around them and very little to do with holding themselves accountable in how they treat people.

Really, people should just be a little more straight forward and specify "conservative 'christians'" in their shit talking, since non-conservative christians actually tend to be pretty good people in my experience.

I mean, conservative christians are people who consider themselves christian and do practice a religion that they refer to as christianity, so on that level they are real "christians".

It's just that they way they use the word christian is different from how I use the word christian, which is where the miscommunication comes in. I do not consider most conservatives to be in line with how I would define a "christian" individual (ie. someone who actively engages in charity, respect for others, kindness, tolerance/acceptance, etc)

@Dongie I do know liberal christians. I consider being liberal to be very natural for christians, since a lot of the values are hypothetically shared (ex charity -> welfare, love thy neighbor -> acceptance of multiple identities, empathy for immigrants, etc)

I'm not personally christian, but I do think abortion is fine. I also believe that if an individual is christian and does not believe in abortion then they have every right personally to not pursue one due to religious beliefs or even just personal preference. That's the point of being pro-choice.

As for "if one will not work let them not eat either", in my opinion this only applies to people who are fully physically, mentally, and emotionally capable of providing for themselves, but are choosing to take advantage of their circle for personal gain. It is by no means a condemnation of welfare or aid to those in need. And I certainly don't think we should make it difficult or impossible for those truly in need to receive assistance because of a few who choose to take advantage of the system. The reality of issues like homelessness, addiction, chronic health issues etc are simply too nuanced to be summed up as "if you don't work, you can't eat".

I objectively don't know you, and I'm not sure how that's relevant.

Any frankly, Jesus and the Bible can say whatever they want. As an atheist/agnostic I don't use either as significant guidance for my moral code or beliefs in general (though i do think that Jesus was generally a decent guy as far as historical figures go). Hence, Bible quotes of any kind really don't serving a reasoning or evidence for me personally, especially not when discussing public policy that applies to broad groups of people, both Christian and non-Christian.

A Christian is one that has accepted Christ as their Lord and Savior. They try to say somebody that sins is not a Christian when they don't know Jesus personally. I think they believe if you're a Christian you will be able to navigate through the rest of your life without committing a sin. I'm not sure who (devil) they got that from.
