Has the UK lost another Prime Minister?

There have been 6 Prime Ministers of the United Kingdom in the past 10 years. Today, 9-Jun-2025, there are reports that UK's Supreme Court has released a report ordering the immediate resignation of Keir Starmer, current PM, due to serious allegations of financial misconduct, deception, and abuse of public trust.

Has the UK lost yet another Prime Minister? Or is this fake news? Or, regardless of what it is, will Starmer resign or stay?

Not yet but I'm working on it.

There was nearly a vote of no confidence last week so I doubt he'll do a full term. The problem is there doesn't seem to be anyone who wants to pick up the poison chalice.

The only ways he could be made to step down is via a vote of no confidence from his own party or by order of the king for being a knobhead

At the Moment I'd say that this is a Fake Story as I cannot find any independent verification of it.

But it would not shock me If Starmer was/is going to be forced out - He has to be the worst UK Prime Minister of Modern Times.

Though there is a bigger question - IF Starmer is forced to resign who will replace him? There is not a single member of the the Labour Cabinet/Front Bench who is up to the task o being the UK's Prime Minister!

Sadly it seems to be a fake news item. Momentarily I had hopes I might be able to return to the UK at some point before the next election, but alas, those hopes were dashed again.

If only he'd have the sense to impale himself on a cactus and rotate instead of forcing everyone else to...
