How do you feel about kids ability to vote, and if they deserve to die for a vote they didn’t make?

This question is based on a argument with another user on this site who claimed "But yeah, sucks to be those kids. Sucks to have those parents. Sucks to live in that state that has those elected representatives. However, they got exactly what they voted for. We said this would happen because it was obvious from a mile away. I am not going to cry myself to sleep tonight because they decided their own destiny for themselves and got exactly what they voted for."

When asked about how the kids could vote for that he responded with "Dont care."

So how do you feel about kids ability to vote, and if they deserve to die for a vote they didn’t make?

Yeah newsflash kids can't vote. But their parents can. If their parents don't care about them, why should I? What legal basis do I have to make any decision for the children of stupid, angry. mean people who vote to harm themselves, their kids, their neighbors, and their relatives? None! I have zero chance of doing anything to save the children of MAGA cult members in another state filled overwhelmingly with MAGA cult members. Let evolution take it's course. Make Darwin proud!

They vote against labor law protections and for "right to work" laws. They vote against workplace safety regulations. They vote for tax cuts for billionaires. They vote against sane gun control laws. They vote to destroy the hated federal govamint. They refuse to get vaccinated for Covid or measles. They vote to bankrupt their own farms and ranches so they can "own the libs" and make this a White Christian Fascist Homeland. These people are the filth of society.

And if I'm being honest, do I really want the next generation of that gene pool and sick cult culture to survive to adulthood? No, I do not. The country is better off without them.

Both sides have some asinine people who take joy at people suffering or deaths of people whether they are kids are not.

Are you as up in arms when kids are shot in school and officials only offer thoughts and prayers instead of actually doing something about it?

Are you as up in arms when that trans girl was killed by classmates and people celebrated that?

Or how about when Mike Lee made his posts after Democratic leaders in Michigan were killed?

Nobody's death should be celebrated and made fun of and both sides are just as guilty as the other, but it's just as wrong to feign outrage when it's your side vs the other side. All sides should come together and show sympathy and if a solution to prevent further deaths is there, work towards a solution together.

I’m never on the side of celebrating death of children. Ever. To me death of children is outside of realm of politics, I don’t care if the parents are dems, I will never sink low enough to gloat about death of children or say a child deserves to die.

Besides, it shouldn't just be extended to children, it should be everyone.

If I saw someone on the right saying a child deserves to die and I see it then I would probably respond telling saying things like that is not ok.

I can't imagine anyone making light of little kids dying because their parents had the audacity to have white children and vote differently than these people that clearly think they're superior. Also, I think one is despicable if they say some of the things that were said about the parents. That someone would say someone deserves to suffer that tremendous loss because of political affiliation is just gross to me. No one said they had to shed tears, but shutting the fuck up costs them nothing.
