Yes Gov DeSantis debated Gavin Newsom a couple of years ago. The two states were compared. Florida had the largest budget surplus and California had the largest budget deficit. California has the biggest tax rate. Florida has no income tax . California has over half of rhe countries homeless population and Florida has one of the lowest homeless rates. Then they compared public school performance, crime and unemployment and Florida came our on top. It is Florida that should be a model for the rest of the country
