How do people actually keep up with politics?

100 new things a day happen in America alone. How do you keep track of names, bills, dates, interviews, careers, etc?

You are either interested or you need to get out of the kitchen. Keeping track of all these things are not healthy for most people in the sense that they stress you out and makes you afraid. Just headline after headline of terrible things to try get you to read them.

You do have a responsibility to educate yourself when it comes to elections but unless you are actually interested in politics otherwise I recommend you just avoid it like the plague. Your life will probably improve by its absence.

Keeping track of most local politics is a challenge. On a national level some people rely on channels such as the news on tv or internet websites to stay updated on major topics.

I watch Fox news and the local TV stations. I also read two local papers and the NY Post.
