Do we have a moral duty to others, or only to ourselves?

The way that I see it is that we are all on this ride together so we are all teachers and guides..

And if you believe in God and his vision when he created us this planet the laws the food

It has and is now being changed up our dirt grows food minus all the minerals and vitamins

Just everything we are all being groomed to be poor. And the wealthy rule the world there buying up homes so we all live together in apartments there building to control us God did not make us so we are under anyone thumb any way to answer your question. If I can help someone succeed, I'm going to do it. I've never read the Bible. I don't know anything you've seen there. I do know though we become one with others and 1 with this universe. That means we love each. We are all in this together to succeed to get to where we're going.

It's funny that we the little people. We work hard to get some thing because that who we want to be we pay our government our hard earned money. To help run this country but all the money we are giving them has be missed used. And let's say you make 50 thousand you pay more in taxes the a billionaire pays I think it's our moral duty to stop the corruption so are grandchildren. Have a good place to live

Morality is more of a survival instinct that ingrained in our minds. Usually happens in societies or tribes where they're struggling with population. But if you look at those ancient civilizations that got densely populated like the Mayans, Romans, Egypt, Greek, etc. where they start to value life less and also show brutality to control people better. But course there are just people who are naturally sensitive to others like Jesus but that could be a result if their caveman brain thinking every life matters as we as a society are struggling. It's hard to know what "morality" is if there's no other people around you. You'll just start killing animals to survive. You share it to someone so you can work together.

Duty is an inconstant concept. If you have a duty to others does that mean that they owe you something? Or do you owe them something? It get's really messy really quick. I almost always see "Duty" being used as a way to manipulate others into doing what you want

Moral duties only are a thing when we decide to make that person into that duty. I have no duty to @secretsofkb for example, but over time I made her wellbeing and safety very much my business.

Depends. Are you a sociopath or a psychopath? Just terminally stupid? If not, you are probably aware at some level that you don't live in a vacuum. We all live in and benefit from a society. If you want that society to thrive and not self destruct, you probably have figured out (except for MAGA) that you need to do your part to make society function for everyone, not just yourself. Whether you consider that a moral imperative or fucking basic common sense, if you want to thrive you need to work towards the common good... or be a sociopath / psychopath.

What could be any moral duty to ourselves that isn't moral duty to others?

Since we're all living in a collective, since this collective will punish us, either using law or ostracism, if we ignore basic moral duties to others. Then how this moral duty to ourselves can exclude others?

Having a moral "duty" others might be a stretch because it implies obligation and I don't think people can be required to help others. I think people have an obligation to themselves and their loved ones first and foremost.

But a moral person has empathy, compassion, and a sense of honor. They will be kind to strangers, help the less fortunate, and stand up for the downtrodden. And they will jump in to assist when called upon by circumstance, even if it requires personal sacrifice or risk. I have the greatest admiration for such people.
When it comes to everyday life, they will be there for their friends. And when it comes to a relationship or marriage, they will endeavor to insure that their partner is happy and feels fulfilled.
