This is Thorne Island, a small island complete with a military fort built to defend against French invasion. It sits near the mouth of the River Cleddau in Wales, one of the world's deepest natural harbours.
The good news is it's up for sale for the bargain price of £3 million.
The bad news is you need a boat or helicopter to reach it.
I'm think of buying it to raise goats on and to use as an evil criminal mastermind hideout. But what would you use it for?

No beach but you're a few minutes drive from two nice ones including freshwater west where Dobby the house elf is buried
I would use the grassy area's for farmland and start a small feudal esc society based around agriculture, community, and nature worship. I'd also build survival bunkers kitted out and designed for protection from nuclear fallout with emergency hydroponic farms. Ideally the people who joined the community would be historical reenactors with their own replica cloths and armor like the people from renaissance fairs or Medieval MMA. Also, guns... lots of guns. I'd also try to find a way to put some artillery on the walls. Barring that ballista's a catapults and gunner/sniper nests.
That is an incredibly good price! Aside from goat raising, it is ideal for alone time that I desperately need.
When I am not being alone there I could rent it out as a couples retreat and as a movie set.
With some re-enactment soldiers and plenty of gun powder it would be just the spot for playing soldiers and repelling the dastardly French scenarios.
I have always felt something was missing from childhood because I was deprived of gunpowder. I'm sure many guys feel the same - especially the wealthy ones. They'd pay top dollar to dress up in a red uniform and wave a sword around and yell FIRE.
Nice view, but to me it would be boring. You are at the mercy of winds and tides, and you would have to generate your own electricity. You sure wouldn't be getting Domino pizza orders delivered. It would be great for a group retreat or for a hermit or two. I could find better and more exciting places to live for the price, like this house in Indiana

I'm sure some of our regular answerers have some suggestions of what they'd like to see it used for, but I'll avoid the political answer and keep it light.
Wow what a great idea , it could be running like the hotel in John wick, or maybe there's enough room to allow former then one evil mastermind, im sure it being a fort and what appears to be a fairly modern structure, there would be more then enough room for henchman, and with it being a deep water harbor plenty of room for submarines , yachts , speed boats , etc. It seems to be a ways away from. the usual shops maybe we should consider a 7-11, and perhaps a taco bell,( does henchmen like Mexican cuisine).
P. s. I was rereading what I wrote and realized im showing my age, and ask for your forgiveness. I assume that in this day and age the more politically correct "hench person's, is preferable to the gender limiting days of old saying "henchmen"

That sounds like such a wild opportunity! If I had Thorne Island, I’d turn it into a cozy retreat—a place to escape from the noise of everyday life and just soak in nature. Imagine mornings with fresh sea air, evenings by a bonfire, and total peace. Plus, the history of the fort would make it feel like a secret adventure every day. What kind of goats would you raise there?
£3M isn't really expensive, an average house costs half of that. Sadomasochistic dungeon where I can perform forbidden sexual rituals to summon demons and other entities which are attracted with pain and lust.
It would be a great place for paint ball and laser tag tournaments. Night laser tag with flow in the dark clothing. Points halo graphed over the island in the sky like "Alice in Borderland" series
