RFK is to halt 500 million dollars in vaccine projects. Thoughts?

Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. announced plans Tuesday to cancel $500 million in vaccine development projects. In a statement from his office, the longtime vaccine critic said all projects to be halted use mRNA technology.

“After reviewing the science and consulting top experts at NIH and FDA, HHS has determined that mRNA technology poses more risk than benefits for these respiratory viruses,” Kennedy said in a video posted on social platform X, referring to Covid-19 and flu mRNA vaccines. The secretary has long been suspicious of the mRNA vaccine platform.

The planned cancellation of contracts includes work with Emory University and Tiba Biotech. Proposals from Pfizer, Sanofi Pasteur, CSL Seqirus, Gritstone and others will also be rejected, according to HHS.

HHS said the cancellations impact 22 projects worth nearly $500 million — however, some contracts in their final stage will be “allowed to run their course to preserve prior taxpayer investment.”

Here is my thoughts….. when I was young we got 8 vaccines. Now I think kids get 36 or 38.
Kids now days are a hell of a lot less healthy than us who grew up yesteryear. Not saying it’s the vaccines, but what are those other 30 vaccines protecting kids from? Not one childhood friend died from some disease that now there is a vaccine for…. I’m not saying it’s all the vaccines fault but I believe injecting foreign matter into your system isn’t good for anyone.

They used live vaccines up until the late 70s.
It gave my entire family whooping cough. That is not healthier.

Some people think “vaccine=good” So anyone opposed to vaccines is bad. We should take two factors into account: 1. What does the science say? And 2. To what extent is the science infused with politics?


Five years ago, we were told that the Covid vaccine was safe and there were no side effects. We now know that is not true. It is just an example of how politics outweighs science in the area of public health.
