Very well said. I will also note that the lack of empathy means that mega basically doesn't give a shit what happens to other people as long as it doesn't happen to them. When I say other people I mean other people as close to them as their parents, their children, their spouses or other relatives or people they profess to care about a little bit. All of this is because they truly and completely lack any empathy whatsoever. You need to have a little bit of empathy to care about what happens to anyone outside your own body and they don't demonstrably. When they are finally dying from some preventable disease that they couldn't afford to treat and didn't want to treat because they believe in conspiracy theories, they might have some sense of regret. I am not American so maybe this is a cultural difference but that stat sounds suspect to me. Half of 18 to 29 year olds have medical debt? Most men I know didn't have their first independent doctors appointment until they were in their 30s. Is this really medical debt or is this some sort of zero interest deferred payment thing available to students and they owe like $50?
I think part of MAGAs plan with Kennedy is that less people will become sick in the first place, which would drive down insurance costs, rather than paying for treatments, which funnels money from the people to the insurance companies.
