What do you think of these vulnerable developmentally disabled, and physically disabled people losing their homes due to Medicaid fraud?

This just fills me with sadness. Its sickening. the good news, thanks to attention to the news media, these people are going to get new homes.

Janelle Hansen is a person with autism. She goes by the nickname "Sky". She was evicted from her apartment as a "Jane Doe", because the organization she pays money to "American Home Health Care LLC" who gets paid by the government to provide care, and to handle her rent, Her bills, and to provide at least 8 hours per day of one on one care. The program she is a part of is meant to allow her to maintain independence and her own apartment, while getting assistance. This company run by a Somali national has been taking her part of the rent. and the $421 dollars per day ($11,984.52 per month) the government pays them, and pocketing it.

Sky was current on her rent to American Home Health Care, so on the day of the eviction, she didn’t understand why she was being forced to leave her home.

Court records indicate American Home Health Care had stopped paying rent to the building’s owners, prompting the eviction order.

Sky has been on the streets for the past 8 months. she has slept in tents, cheap hotels, shelters when there is room, and her car.

One of her neighbors is a big reason that this came to light. He testified against American Home Health Care LLC, having photographic evidence of the fraud in question.

Its just one more example of bad people. Or people taking advantage of those that can't help them selves or protect them selves. There is a special place in hell for people that do that kind of thing. I dont care which side of the political spectrum you fall under, if you are okay with whats going on with these people, you aren't human, you are evil.
