As Latin Americans we are often depicted as very temperamental people and very hotheaded.
And to be fair, sometimes I see myself falling into this stereotype. Don't get me wrong, I consider myself a very chill person but my *fight response* instincts are really strong when facing any kind of disrespect, provocation or hostility. Since I started training martial arts I discovered that I feel very happy when fighting, to the point that I once even cried in a sparring session due to sheer happines.
Now I want to ask you:
Have you ever fighted before? How do you respond against hostility?
I know this place is not a good representation to the average population, so feel free to also talk about what have you seen in your fellow countrymen and countrywomen.
