If one person was shot in the back of the head by another that is a sign the killing wasn’t done in self defense, do you agree or disagree with this?

Maybe. I'd have to know more details. Kind on align the theme of I don't want the law to bend over backwards and go out of its way to protect CRIMINALS and to go after LAW ABIDING VICTIMS.

So if you break into my home at 1 am, where my wife and children are and possibly threaten ALL OF OUR LIVES, if I pull out a gun and start shooting at you... you turning to run away doesn't instantly make you some innocent, poor victim that deserves protection from me. You shouldn't fucking be in my home and you broke in with a weapon yourself.

The millisecond he turns to flee doesn't make him magically "off the hook" and protected.

Not necessarily.
During an attack, the person being attacked could take out their weapon and, in the act of shooting, the attacker turns their head to look away and not be shot, but the bullet then hits them in the back of the head.

@Chazmatazz269 It's not nonsense at all. It's instinct. When your senses perceive that you are about to be struck by a projectile or get into so other type of collision, your somatic nervous system will react to avoid or mitigate the collision.

Here's an example of such an instinct at work. Imagine you have your hand touching a hot stove burner. Do you ponder "Well, ouch. What should I do here? Remove my hand or ponder that last season of The Walking Dead"?" You don't think at all; you are evolved to have your somatic nervous system react and pull your hand away from the pain.

Another example more akin to this situation: A boxer consciously weaves to avoid being hit, but if his opponent is about to land a head shot, the boxer will instinctively attempt to move his head out of the way or turn it so as to avoid the hit or, at least, not be hit in the face. There's no thought involved; he just does it. That's the somatic nervous system at work.

Now, if someone is about to shoot you, your somatic nervous system will take appropriate action. And, like in boxing, a head turn to avoid harm to the face is such a potential response.

Not necessarily, say the person hit them and the person’s head had whiplash and their head turned towards the person but their body isn’t turned to the person.
