Thank republicans, they shut down federal and state mental health institutions decades ago, then cut off support and assistance to millions of downtrodden citizens.. such a predictable outcome. I predicted this general problem back in 1986.

in 1996, a close friend of mine was shot 5 times while taking out the trash at his mall job. Homeless mentally ill person just walked up and started shooting.

I like the idea of eye for an eye punishment as long as there is very good evidence that the person being accused actually did it.
